Does anybody know if there is any way to transmog a Main hand/Off hand combo into a staff or hide the off hand entirely?

I dislike the transmog options of the off hands and when I get a gear upgrade that is not a two handed staff it bothers me a little because I know I have to use an off hand.

If there isn’t such an option, would you think it’d be a good idea to add the option in the game? We recently got shoulders we can seperately transmog, we can also hide certain armor on our character, I feel it’d be a nice quality of life change if we could hide our off hand or just transmog a two- one handed combo into a dual handed staff.

Only by transmogging into an artifact staff I am afraid.

See that annoys me, the fact you can do it for artifact weapons but not for normal weapons seems so odd and inconsistant. I don’t see why we shouldn’t be able to do it freely.

I do agree. Thankfully on my Frost Mage I like one of the artifact appearances so I use that.

They used to argue that it was to do with the weapon animations as to why you had to keep the T’Mog within the same category of weapon.

But with the ability to T’mog artifact over anything diminishes that arguement to nothing.

Yes! Recently got a dagger and a offhand on my main, and my mog options for offhands are rather limited. Wish they’d remove restrictions like that completely.

Yeah once they did it with artifacts it should seem possible with everything.

yeah when the real explanation is “Ion doesn’t want to” they usually come up with some bullsheet excuses.

tbh at this juncture they should drop the entire mog restrictions for all chars on account, if it drops it adds to library and get rid of the holiday restrictions. If we grind the darn thing let us use it all year around!

I agree we should be able to mog 1h+OH to staves (or polearms). This was the reason I’m avoiding this combination like the plague, my selection of offhand looks is a bit meh. I do have some good daggers, dare I say maces, but staves are shiny, big and flashy. :ok_hand:

I think it would’ve been a great addition to the customization options brought with Shadowlands.
