Hey guys, so i got a couple of weapons from the AH to transmog on my rogue.
One of them being a one handed sword and another being an axe.
Why does it not appear on my transmog list? it only displays daggers.
Since Rogues can use all one handed weapons.
I also switched to Outlaw spec which is the prefered weapon of choice (swords, axes etc)
Did you change the weapon tab?
Daggers can only mog into other daggers.
yes i tried, it only has daggers as a selecetion
This. It’s becasue there are rogue specific attacks that require daggers. Those attacks use animations that were designed with daggers in mind, they are some stabs and stuff. It would look odd to stab people with an axe, fist or mace. Swords could be ok but this would exclude them from being able to mog into axes or maces and fists.
okay that makes sense now. thought you could mog anything regardless the selection on your character as long as your class is able to equip it
The only way you can mog that sword and axe is if you go outlaw spec.
No matter what spec he is they can only mog dagger to dagger. I linked the guide lines on transmog in this thread please dont give the wrong infomation.
It wasn’t really wrong though, the only way he can use that axe or sword on a rogue is to use the spec that doesn’t use daggers.
He was asking solely about his daggers
And everybody else before me had answered why he couldn’t mog them so there’d be no point me repeating it.
So instead I offered the suggestion that he could go outlaw to use them.
He boughts the weapons for mog only not to actually use so how can he mog them if he has nothing to mog them onto ?
I am always hoping they will give sin’s and sub’s more weapon type transmogs. At least fist weapons would be great.
You can wield a axe off hand and MOG it like I have my dagger in main and sword off hand but. Dagger can only be mogged into another dagger that should be obvious
