isnt suppose to be account wide the transmogs ?
There is account wide mog, you just can’t unlock appearance for items that don’t belong to your class.
Summary
For example: Mage, Priest and Warlock can unlock only cloth for mog, and even though you can wear all armor types as Warrior or Paladin, you can unlock only mail and plate armor. Hunter and Shaman can unlock only leather and mail.
Once you however go past lvl 40 and learn new armor type, you can unlock mog only for that one type.
Thus, you can’t unlock leather as Hunter/Shaman or mail as Warrior/Paladin past lvl 40.
I was wrong about what I wrote in this summary.
Even though you can wear only mail armor as Warrior or Paladin and leather armor as Hunter and Shaman prior to level 40, you can’t unlock or modify any appearance for that armor type.
You also must be able to equip the weapon in order to unlock it’s appearance.
Once you do this, you are able to use the appearance on any character eligible.
ye i figure that out my self problem was i wasnt able to transmog a loom bow … into what i wanted … but got it resolved :=)
anyways any 1 knows where these loom legs are from ?
heirloom legs are in mop
im not sure if it was bugged back then but i remember leveling a hunter during prepatch and until level 40 i couldn’t unlock any armor type. Mails due to not being able to equip yet and leather not being hunter specific armor. I even ended up saving all my mail armor quest rewards in the bank and once im level 40 i deleted+item restored them all, to unlock their transmogs
Actually, death knights, paladins and warriors can only unlock plate, and similarly hunters and shamans can only unlock mail. Even at low levels.
Well, I never tested this, since the only alt I’ve been leveling in CATA is rogue.
Death Knight however starts at level 58 if I’m not mistaken. They already start with plate armor skill.
I assume that Hunter can’t unlock any mail prior to lvl 40 because they don’t have skill to equip any.
Same goes for Paladin and Warrior. They can’t unlock any plate armor prior to lvl 40 because plate armor below that level simply does not exist in WoW Classic.
Edit: After doing some research, it appears that you are right.
Even though you can wear only mail armor with Warrior/Paladin prior to level 40, you can’t unlock any mail armor appearance and can’t alter the look of the mail armor you have equipped.
It’s presumably the same for leveling Hunter/Shaman in case of leather armor.
Thus only Hunter and Shaman class after learning mail armor skill at level 40 can unlock low level mail armor intended for Warrior and Paladin class, which is rather bad design if you ask me, and probably one of reasons why they eventually completely removed this armor type upgrade for those four classes, making them to wear mail and plate since level one in later expansions.
another half jacked system that took blizzard years to fix in retail but we still have to bear cuz “og experience”
