:d I had two tusks of mannaroth drop on a leather and a clothie.
Then 7 months later it finally dropped … but I had a friend with me xD had to beg and plead to pass to me as she wanted them aswel.
this is why i always do mog runs with other 4 friends using different armour types. it’s stupid that this exists, but hey, it’s blizzard.
Any item that a character can literally wear should be added to the wardrobe.

That would be a massive disadvantage to some armor types. For example plate wearers can equip all four armor types, while cloth wearers can only equip cloth.

I am literally saying this as a cloth wearing main. If you can equip it, it should be learned.
I’ve always thought that there should be a bad luck protection when it comes to tmog runs. Paticularly on old content.
It took 5 weeks for a head piece to drop for my mage that’s with me running ToS on three mages each week. Similar for my Monk who needed leg pieces.
The longest piece to ever drop for me was a head piece from NaX for my druid. It took 9 months to drop.
You are lucky to get at least some gear.

What you can do is pop a suggestion to blizz for a transmog vault for the stuff you have done that week. You could advertise in LFG Classic raids, set up a Community for old raids/content or even a Discord server. You could even operate like the Boosters do with a trade chat channel, though server hopping might be an issue.
It’s like some unwritten rule in WoW to always taunt you on alts with things you wanted on another char.
Even on the Forbidden Reach I kept getting tokens for the other three armour types and not much in the way of Plate which was what I was after. At least we can send them on though.
pity we can’t send them to friends though
