So, hunters has alot of cool ranged weapons that can be transmogged, however, illusions can’t be applied to them…
I get it, it would probably look weird. Though, in classic, theres specific ammo from AV quartermaster that makes arrows/bullets ”blue” or ”icy”.
So the suggestion is quite simple, could we please have projectile illusions?
Fiery arrows?
Lightning arrows?
Poison arrows?
Please, pretty please.
Quiver and arrow type transmog options would be cool.
nice idea, it could be a cool glyh to change the colour/effect of autoshots for example, or some sort of cosmetic option.

Probably it’s some programming issues that has left us out.
There is no logical reason why they can’t give us the new weapon appearances Wraithchill and Void edge, that paints the overall weapon.
Glyphs for colourful ammo, yes, I’m all for it, good suggestion. Since it’s already in game it might be easier to create and a fine compromise.
Purple arrows for Void Elf Hunters!
FYI, Thori’dal is transmoggable and its transmog also applies visual effect of star arrows.
I know it’s pretty hard to obtain, but it’s exactly what you want.

If you play a void elf and void out your arrows do glow a cool white colour 
I noticed it yesterday when playing.
Me neither, just tested it and it’s all sparkly!!! Happy hunter alts

I read something about it being removed but you would know being a hunter yourself. I’ve been trying to get it for years, going to Sunwell every now and then, not thinking about the effect anymore, just the general coolness.
Tested it about a week ago on low-lvl alt. Sparky autoattacks works when mogged, so yes.
Also, side note: you can add Thori’dal by any character that can equip it. IIRC I looted it back in MoP with my now abandoned rogue alt, and it appeared in collections tab as soon as 8.3 popped up. So if you have Warrior or Rogue in your alt list – you can farm Thori’dal with them too. Good luck!

How did I not realiese this!? Ive had this bow for ages and it even goes with my favourite mog!
Another pretty good one is Voice of the Quilen from ToT…its a gun that shoots lightening! Although it is pretty difficult to find a mog that works with it.
