So, apparently there is a bug that has been known for years and Blizzard has not fixed it. So when I reported this problem today I was told to make a bug ticket… Just put it on the pile in the back…
Here is the story.
I am a Rper. I have spent weeks farming a raid for two items. Very time consuming. By the love of the RNG Gods they finally dropped in the same run. Since I am plate, and they are leather, it’s not possible to farm it on alts to get the appearance, I must physically own the soulbound item and equip for RP.
Now here is the issue.
Since I have various outfits saved, one for RP and one for DPS, SOMEHOW the two leather items I got were transmogged. ???
Seems like an easy fix? Wrong.
Opened a ticket and of course, Customer Support can’t help, only suggest I submit a bug ticket. See the first paragraph.
I would prefer it if I didn’t have to sacrifice my second born child to the RNG gods to get the two items again… first one was sacrificed for them to drop last week…
Tried to:
Delete the item/Item Restoration. Transmog is still on it….
Put it in Void Storage, which removes transmogs. Void Storage was removed…
Put it in Warbank. Can’t, it’s soulbound…
Tried to recreate the ‘bug’ through sets via Transmog. Ofc it didn’t work…
I cannot remove the transmog from a leather item as I am plate.
So I wonder, what is the point of putting in a bug ticket knowing a problem is years and years old only add it to the stack of reports? I’ve seen Hoarders enough to know that if you collect enough of something the floor will collapse… so Blizz, I know you aren’t reading this, so I’ll plead to the community here to comfort me in my frustration, please tell me someone has gained the system and found a work around for this?
