Transmogrification in WOTLKC as a Feature

Add transmog to wotlk classic as a turn on/off feature, just like equipment manager and preview talent changes. You want to see your and everyone else transmog click it, if you don’t just don’t click it.
It is just that simple.
Also make a currency to change appearance honor and emblems so pvp and pve will thrive. No one is forcing you to have it so you don’t have to participate in the grind.

There should be rules that you can only mog 2h mace into 2h mace, plate to plate, so #nochangers won’t be confused who is killing them.

Group finder is fine, they are not adding M+ to WotLK, no idea about pvp as I don’t subject myself to that.

Point being some additions and features are fine and good for the game. Some are not. Personally I think transmog is NOT a good fit for classic.

you are funny. On one hand complain about retail features, and yet you want retail features? Which one is it then? Or is it only retail features that you like, but not others?

Transmog should absolutely be brought into WOTLK, the sooner the better. And yeah there should be an option to turn off visibility of others transmogs, If there is such an option then those who wanna mog can those who don’t don’t and those who wanna be cowards and only gank those with low tier gear can gank away to their hearts content and never have to worry about a fair fight or being stomped back.

Should they ever consider adding transmog to classic it should come with the option to be completely turned off. If you’re a clown, I want to see you as a clown not as an imaginary hero.

Out of curiosity, can you turn off transmogs from being visible in Retail in the options?

I like that idea, when u can turn it off. Im completly fine with it, even if i will personaly not use it.

I know a private pirate server that had exactly this feature. Since WotLK Classic is also turning into a custom funserver with all the x1.5 and H+, I guess switchable transmog is the next natural step.

You cant … and tbh there isnt really a reason since gearing on retail sucks and you wouldnt know crap about what they are wearing anyway …

But we had option to swap models for old ones and stuff like corgi googles or dalaran pots exist, which means there is technology for “changing models” on bigger scale for other players …

And I have seen few Pservers with this, but since there is/was even play addon/hack that allowed you to use transmog even on vanilla, Id call it black magic and stay away from that :smiley:
