I’ve used my cooldown to made living steel 18 times now and have not received a single extra living steel. Does transmutation master extra-procs not apply to living steel?
They do apply, you’re just unlucky. My very first living steel transmute on release day gave a x5.
18 transmutes in a row without a single proc is unlucky, but it definitely happens. If you try transmuting large amounts of stuff that has no cooldown, or crafting large amounts of potions, you will find out that sometimes you craft 30 in a row without a proc.

On the long run, it evens out at 20% bonus procs. So, since my first transmute was a x5, i was statistically supposed not to get any extra procs for the next 19 days (*). Which, in the end, would have brought me to a total of 24 living steel (20 base + 4 bonus). Therefore, 18 transmutes in a row without a proc seems pretty"normal" to me, even though it can be frustrating
(* to my mathematician friends who’re gonna say : “past events have no influence on future probabilities” => yes i know, just wanted to make it simple)
Just see it this way : if you get a x5 tomorrow, you would be very close to your expected yield in 19 days.

On my 28th craft I got 1 extra living steel, yay
I make 15 living steel every day and it works perfectly fine. Evens out to around 20% more as intended.
18 is a very low sample size.

but it just sucks, very low chance
