Hi fella druids,
I am noticing in bbattlegrounds especially that my travel form is way slower than the mounts. At the beginniing I though that it was the crusader aura that was making the mounts faster than my travel form.
On purpose I checked without the crusader aura and still mounts were able to move faster than me.
Can it be that I have forgotten to train something? Where are the trainers for faster travel form?

Mounted Speed 210%
Travelform out of combat +100% speed (capped at 200%)
Travelform used in combat +40% speed + what ever speed bonus you have from enchants (currently +10% is doable)
So in large Epic BG’s you want to still ride your mount of choice to traverse the map.
In small scale normal bgs like warsong where you just want to dart 100-200 yards back into the action, a quick travelform is fine.
I wanted to say thanks for the reply. So when do you use travel form? When questing? When in bgs?
BGs obviously for kiting and/or getting away , or while stuck in combat and being unable to mount.
In open world for a short distance where just a quick instant shift gets you fatser to another flower/enemy etc.

Below a handy Weak Aura you can import that’ll show you your movement speed in real time. I mainly use travel form whilst in the world/PvE (except for when I need to dragon fly) because it is only slightly slower than ground mount speed + you can leap forward in travel form + mounts have a cast time.
It shows in the top left, green text as percentage (does not work for Dragon Flying yet):
