I just love this event! But as an MMORPG and how big part transmogs are of the game; shouldn’t this be live always? A fun thing to do whenever you have time outside of PvP/PvE and a fun RPG that can always be live though e.g Group Finder as an own section?

I think if the event was up all the time it wouldn’t get as much interest. At present the event fills up easily because it’s only short term.

It would if they added fewer transmog rewards in the Trading Post, and more as the rewards of, you know, the transmog event.
Are there any new mogs for rewards? It was dead for years. I wont participate if there are no new rewards! Dead and boring event.
It would be less special if it was live all the time.

The rewards really are lame mid and even ugly.
Just compare to ffxiv stuff.
A group of us went last time to get the tokens for all bits and bobs from the vendor. I don’t know when it was actually last updated, I also only collect plate. I never main change and so everything I collect is something my main can equip.
It was really good fun, we sat on discord and dressed up for all the themes. Taking the mick out of each other.
I’m not sure if this time there’s anything new but the last time it was around they pretty much doubled the rewards if not more. Worth checking out anyways

What they should do though is make sure every time it’s live, there is some new stuff to get (and some new themes swapped in as well).
I think the event benefits from being only up sometimes, but there is a valid discussion to have around asking if the frequency should be increased.
My 2c worth: monthly is probably a little too frequent so maybe every 3 months (4 times per year)?
That said any increase in frequency would need to come with a bit of a revamp to freshen it up a bit.
No it would just mean it becomes hard to find others to do the competition with. It works even without new rewards because it’s only an occasional event.
Then it wouldn’t be an event, but it should be available more often.
Twice a year is awfully rare. It should be every 2 months.
People would probably fill up fast enough for it in this case since showing off mogs is pretty much the same as showing off your mounts. 
Btw, fashion is the true endgame. Stats and gear come and go, transmog is evergreen.

This is the first time doing it in my life, and I enjoyed myself even when I lost.
If it was once every few months, it would be better than twice a year.
Darkmoon fair is once every month, so this event can be once every 2 months. Or even 3 months.

They should add Player Housing in WoW and put some housing stuff in “Trial of Style” as rewards!
only reason i even care for it, is that tmog is free while its active

i love this event, but first it’s borning, second it’s abusable, third it havn’t good rewards.
Some weapons are really cool.
Unfortunately, yes, I’ve seen players from the same server and guild appearing on the top of that pedestal.
That’s probably why my frens didn’t want to go with me, to keep it as fair and unbiased as possible. I mean, I’d sure upvote them.
Every 4 months would be better else it would get boring and it would need constant update’s.
some weapons it’s 2-4 try for all what usually can be needed.
There are other world events to take part at different times of the year. Twice a year is enough. The reduced frequency of the event makes it more exciting.
