Hi all, so I finally did trial of the elements and only reward I got was the 1h sword cosmetic. Is that intended? I thought this was guaranteed high ilvl loot. Shall I keep farming the chest (the respawn takes a lot of time so I want to avoid wasting time for additional tries if this is bugged).
If there are lot of people in the cave, do we need to be in group/raid to get the loot perhaps?
U just need to be close, once your “scenario quest” popup u are eligible for loot .
And to loot , nobody realy knows hoe it works, but it definitely bypass loot spec, as i got 2h wep as prot warrior ( loot spec was set to prot) . Also, water elements chest which is intended to works same way gave me just some random crap , so yea… it might as well be random with realy high chance for gear
It seems the gear from these events and the ‘mega’ rare mobs is random.
I killed 2 rares and I participated in 1 event - I got correct leather bracers once, I didn’t get anything on pull 2, and I got 372 polearm (i’m a tank dh) on the 3rd one.
I guess I was close enough as I got the cosmetic. Interestingly I also main protection warrior and later on I found out I had 2h weapon in my mailbox despite being prot and having empty bags so I guess somehow this was the reward related to that event. Just wrong item that for some reason was sent via in-game mail instead of looting it directly.
