-ToC crafted Items
-245 ilvl T9
-Emblem gear

From the Reddit, it looks like you can’t use any 245 from Ulduar 10 HM, but no confirmations.

Hi all, Been trying to rustle up some information for Tribute to Dedicated Insanity. I saw from here (https://www.reddit.com/r/classicwow/comments/14ld0iq/help_with_a_tribute_to_dedicated_insanity/) that it looks like the 245HM Weapons from Ulduar 10 also void the achievement, which given the gear required for Herald and the Achievement Text screams not working as intended. Is there any info on whether this is working by design and we need to re-farm us some new Tribute/Herald weapons, or will…

I found this on server discord:

we used 245 10 HM ulduar weapons

so that is incorrect

What I can confirm works: p2 herald gear (so uld 10 man hardmode + tier 7 + 232 ulduar 25 pieces) 245 relentless pvp off-pieces 245 TOGC gear that specifically only drops in 10 man TOGC What I know definitely does not work: Any TOGC 25 gear 252 Hardmode ulduar gear + val’anyr Onyxia gear What probably doesn’t work but I haven’t tested so I wouldn’t use it: Badge gear 245 tier 245 BoE crafterables

we did it with just p2 herald gear + 10 man TOGC heroic gear that only drops in 10 man TOGC heroic (so no tier ) + 245 relentless offpieces and we got it

so that’s what I can confirm 100% doesn’t work

also big tips:

• A group on my server failed it last week since their warrior forgot he had a weapon switch macro DISABLE THOSE
• If you enter with 252 gear but swap to the proper gear before pulling you will still fail it if this happens just go out and reset raid and enter again this 100% works . Make sure everybody enters in the proper gear setup and never changes gear before you finish, since the check happens the moment you enter the raid even out of combat. Multiple groups have failed it like this

Guy on the Reddit post also said this: Yes after communicating in the Achievement discord, yes, 10 man HM Ulduar Weps cannot be used.

Wish we’d get some sort of confirmation from Blizz.

Still no real clarity on this, so I’ll post.

It looks like Herald Gear is: 245 & Below on Weapon Slots, 239 & Below on Armour.

For Tribute, it seems to be all over the place. From what we can work out, anything that drops in 10 man TOGC is fine, including 245 T9 and the 258 capes. We haven’t tried with 252 Ulduar HM gear but believe it’s probably not allowed.

245 crafted we’re also unsure.
