Why doesn’t Blizzard make class specific trinkets?
Ive been trying to farm a trinket for nearly 4 weeks, I always get outrolled by someone. In M+ it’s impossible low drop rate and you can’t even spam low keys any more, it has to be 16 minimum due to the new system.
How are you actually meant to get trinkets? Can’t Blizzard make trinkets that are good for only certain classes? I’ just lost Beacon to a freaking tank. Why is a tank even allowed to roll on it.
Tanks using damage trinkets instead of tanking trinkets isnt exactly a new thing. If your tank has enough survival on its own they simply swap to a damage profile. Healers do this as well.
Yeah it’s nuts. Only weekly vault or raid where 20-30 other people roll on them. I wish they gave us a class trinket to grind ilvl for expansion like BfA neck or Legion artifact weapon.
You either luck out in raids with a roll, target a specific dungeon for a trinket drop and spam it until you get it, or you join a raiding guild and raid with them (non-cesspool guilds that is).
Another alternative is to get yourself a crafted one through work orders. You can also buy a darkmoon deck if you desperately need a trinket.
I am not sure why you’d roll for Beacon asan evoker unless you play preservation and want to do more damage, or this is not your main. That trinket is the preferred option of melee and tanks, while ranged have other options available.
Beacon is very good for tanks. It does the same damage a DPS would with it.
Defensive trinkets are pretty bad this season as well. But tanks DPS aswell in case you haven’t noticed.
Your problem is the loot system and on that you can have my support. It’s frustrating as it’s always been. Except in SL season 4. Cause dinars were awesome and solve these issues.
Beacon is great for everyone that prefers to stack critical and versa (like monks in example). It might not even your bis trinket since there is ominous and irideus fragment (which you need to farm halls to get and no you aren’t supposed to farm +2 to get a max ilvl trinket, change was in order to play proper level dungeons to get proper level trinkets).
Beacon is a trinket a lot of people want and if its not for this evoker but for another character that has it BIS then only via guild is your best bet.
Jewelcrafters and players with Inscription can craft trinkets and if they are not to your liking you can also get them from Time Rifts vendors for around 1700-1800 Paracausal Flakes (while those are only of Veteran quality).
Beacon is incredibly good for augmentation as it covers your one weakness of low individual burst damage. It’s super important for keys like brackenhide and vortex pinnacle to kill adds you’re often otherwise incapable of.
