Troll customization is lacking so far. I will list ways to improve on them.

Trolls need:

More faces. Trolls have only 5 options that’s way to view.

More hair styles.

  1. Braids
  2. Dreadlocks
  3. Short mohawk without “sideburns”
  4. Side cut
  5. A long mohawk all way the back down
  6. A mohawk with additional braids

Beards
Are since WC 3 a thing for trolls.
Shadowhunters and witch doctors had them. Vol’jin even had one. It’s time the players are getting some options here.

Bones, claws, or teeth piercings, for body piercings and jewelry.
Bracelets with feathers or without.
Even the loincloth is perfect.
Cut off tusks.

Ears
Adjustable ear length especially longer variations for female Trolls. It’s strange they can’t have longer ears like the males.
2 possible options. But length is fine.

Tusks.

  1. Every tusk option has to have the option for a broken tusk.
  2. Every tusk option has to have the options for piercings / rings.
  3. Cut off tusks.
  4. Replaced part/s of one or both tusks, with gold, metal, bone etc.
  5. Stripes made out of different materials, for every tusk option.
  6. Fetishes hanging down from one or both tusks. Could be feathers, bones, a voodoo doll, a small tiki.
  7. Carvings
  8. Tusk rings
  9. A options for tusk coming out from the lower jaw (like the old models had).
  10. Some larger tusk options for females.

Claws would be a nice option. Vol’jin was in “Shadows of the Horde” described has having claws. Some WC 3 Reforged Troll models have claws too.

  • Jewelry
    Different materials can be used, wood, stone, metals, textiles, bones, claws, teeth etc.
    Fetishes and Tikis are a must have. For example on a necklace, or even in their hair (females).

This picture shows artwork for Trolls for the Warcraft movie. It gives great inspiration for hairstyles, a beard, jewelry, war paints and new skin tones ( even posture and armor).

More war paints, 3 options for the body is way to view and 2 are very similar. More for the faces would also be appreciated very much so.

Last but not least:
Green skin option
This is one of the most requested things from Troll fans. Next to the bulky Amani / Ice Troll build. I would love both, but the green skin option would be a compromise / start.

If its me you’re asking i would love some new hairstyles (i know some a coming in SL). Atm i have 2 i always go for!!! But most of all i would LOVE facial hair for trolls, and as stated it has been around forever, just not for the playable trolls. Tusk idea is cool also imo. Nothing would scream SAVAGE TROLL like a semi (or fullout) broken tusk.

Qulzan this is kinda off topic to your original post, but I’ve been looking for troll fans to help me on this.

I’ve been trying to make a Video that I would like to post on YouTube. It’s about Different trolls from different Troll tribes dancing to the music based on them.

So for example:

The Forrest troll would dance to the Zul Aman music. You would basically record your screen while your character (Qulzan) dances. Then we could add the music on top of it.

The Gurubashi would dance to the Zul Gurub music. So we would use a Troll with Gurubashi customization. They usually have same customization as the Darkspear since both are jungle trolls. But Gurubashi usually have Sea green hair. While Darkspear red or pink.

Ice trolls we would use blue skin and blue hair. Already available in the game.

The Darkspear would dance to Darkspear music. We could use red hair, the usual Darkspear style on a level 1 character. Or possibly a character with the Darkspear tabard.

The Zandalari would dance to Zuldazar music

The blood trolls would dance to Nazmir music. For this we need to use that one quest in Nazmir that turns you into a Blood troll.

Overall the video will turn out great, and show the diversity of the Troll tribes and their respective music.

Sand trolls can use the Zul Farrak music (which is the best!) Yellow or orange hair.

What do you think of the idea?

Hey I love your idea. It will be great showcasing different tribes and show the differences they have.

Some people are mixing up the different tribes way too often.

I have a suggestion tough. I would not include the Blood Trolls at all, they can be seen as nothing else but enemies.
I would also include the Frostmanes (You did of course they are Ice Trolls). They have speakers in Zul’dazar and they are still holding out in Dun Morogh.

I would be very honored if you were using Qul’zan for the Forest Troll representation.
