I will be transferring this druid to horde this week and I cant choose between troll or tauren. I will be doing mostly RBG’s and M+ on a side.
I kinda like them both and dont like them at the same time compared to night elf if that makes sense.
I will be playing only balance and I dont really like how taurens are so bulky to be a caster, also they dont look that well in mogs imho because of their size. However their racials seems really good for PvP, war stomp into cylone seems nice to have.
With trolls I feel like they fit better for boomkin, better casting animations, not so bulky, mog looks better on them but then the racials feels weaker for PvP, I dont think there is much difference in PvE in overall DPS between races anymore.
I can’t decide at all and I would like to see some other opinions
Warstomp feels too good to pass up in regards to CC, but voodoo shuffle isn’t half bad either as a relentless version of the gnome racial plus you have a mini bloodlust
NE racial is reason why i never gonna transfer… when you practice it enough you are capable to soak enire enemy bursts in shadowmeld, like melding while killer projectile is in air, once you master that (which is not easy and demand years of practice) than any other druid racial look like joke.
Turen for cc, been an absolute godsend in pvp and especially m+, to stun clone in pvp. And to basically avoid some air mechanics and packs in m+. Though you will mostly have use of it in m+ as tank/feral, as you will be in melee.
Troll druid racial is nice for a dps boost, and is a way easier no brain usage, ad you just macro it to your cd’s.
I’m tauren, strictly cause I man guardian, and stomp gives me way more control of m+ to not take.
Personally I went troll for aesthetic reasons, transmog do look better on them but neither can wear boots unfortunately, I also like that troll isn’t a bulky race like the oversized cows. Troll will probably be slightly more dps in PvE because of berzerking, but not enough to make a huge difference
Tauren will 100% be better in pvp though, stomp is huge
I have a Zandalari and Kul Tiran druids as well and any time I play those I find myself going to use stomp and not having it, real bummer… altho sending people flying off cliffs is kinda cool on Kul Tirans it’s still not a patch on stomp.
If my calculations are correct trolls (or more specifically zandalari trolls )look sick and um…are straight backed trolls and um… the can embrace a loa and um…have cool forms and um…just play zandalari
