Troll this or troll that!

I have see a lot of answers in threads that if people do not agree they call people trolls.
What I wonder is that are they not trolls themself?
Why even answer the thread when they are not even interested in it?

Just move on and get a life outside Azeroth instead?

Well with some people and the garbage that come out of their mouth you have to wonder if their are trolling or just plain stupid.

So you just go for the less offensive one.

Sometimes it’s because they are forumdwellers that knows each others well, and over time have figured out what to write to piss the other side off
And when they no longer have anything to throw at each other, they throw the troll card at them - and honestly a lot of times it is
But very entertaining to read

And sometimes I think it’s lack of a better answer that makes them write that :man_shrugging:

Fite me and make me :facepunch:

Oh it’s just a buzzword that people use whenever someone disagrees with them, as obviously everyone who opposes their amazing idea must be a troll; I mean, why else would they not agree? Makes perfect sense.

And yeah, I’m not saying that there aren’t real trolls on these forums, actually there are quite a few: but they’re usually pretty distinguishable from the bait posts that they make.

This happens a lot to me. I can relate.

The worst trolls are those who immediately post in threads to be antagonistic and offer nothing to the subject or help the the OP asking for it.

Trolling is an art form if done properly. A website I used to visit a lot with a few friends called Brawl Hall was fantastic. I remember a squad of us “invaded” a website called JustAsk and within 3 hours we had pretty much obliterated it.

Believe me. The “trolls” I see on here wouldn’t last 5 minutes if I felt vindictive enough.

When I call someone troll it is actually based on two definitions :

And

However some/many people call others trolls for ‘different opinion’.

I think secretly, everyone aspires to be a troll.

The very definition of a troll has been warped soo much that It has completely changed in meaning.

Troll was something people feared, then something they despised, then something they found funny, something they aspired to be, then it became something annoying and now it’s something they brand anyone that disagrees with them it.

I think it’s best not think about it and just understand it in it’s context.

Yo Hinata M+ routing is wicked, that guy’s a master troll.
Yo Hinata is always trolling, trying to grief others when ever they can
Yo Hinata is so good at the game, but they make at an objective to make all other players hate their life during the game, that guy’s a master troll!
Yo Hinata is such a funny guy, he’s a super troll!
Yo Hinata just doesn’t want to get that the Alliance is an oppressed minority, they keep ignoring my points, such a troll.
Yo Hinata keeps derailing my topic, what a lame troll.
Yo Hinata pulled an epic prank on me last night, ngl it was super funny, such a troll.

It’s a popular word, and feels good to use. I love being a troll.

So much this.

Someone’s got a crush
