Mostly, I like seing people whine and btch about trivial stuff which mostly comes down to being a skill issue.
This is ironically a mining skill issue

You have always needed the base skill rather than the skill plus an enchant to learn to smelt stuff.
225 + 5 for mining and 230 for learning smelting.
