Started 9.2 late and i’m trying to get Adventures in Zereth Mortis done to get my flying… but I can’t get to any rare in time due to… not having flying and… everyone else having flying.

Even flying does not guarantee you get to any rare. Flying is not a magic fix.
What you do is go to the location of the rare you want to kill next. Wait for the mob to respawn or a group to pop up in the group finder.
Even with flying this is how I kill the bulk of the rares daily. Not every rare is up every day but most are. The ones that are up are on a 15-20 min respawn timer, there are a few exceptions.
The rare’s that are on rotation are listed on Wowhead’s front page, they show which ones of the rotation are up that day.

Yes, as kermit (lol) above says. Just go to a rare spawn site, and use group finder. Not ideal, but it’s how I for one did it.

a) get handynotes addon to see where rares are
b) go to that place
c) open lfg-> custom groups
d)type name of rare mob
e) join group forming for tht mob
f) profit
now repeat it as many times as you need
Walk to a rare spawn location, press I → premade groups → custom → “insert rare name” and keep pressing refresh. Join when you find one, profit.
I know the feeling fella. But may i surgest maybe getting an addon or going horde?
