still no luck. the few large communities horde side are not accepting and still getting decline after decline when joining groups

Is the character your posting on what your trying to join with? Might wanna push the item level a bit first. Most I see in group finder are looking for rogues.
Man… even if it’s the character he is posting, he has full starter PvP gear ,along with 2 bigger pieces and a lege… ok he is not THE GEARED one… but still, with a little help he can go higher…
I don’t understand… all people make it look like they are 3k rating and hard stuck at 1600-1800…

about an hour later, i was able to get into 5, but all failed bad, except 1, on the azerite island of all places! im not saying they were beneath me or anything, but in BfG they fought in the middle. none used comms either. im happy either discord of ingame. i dont want to use ts though.
this is. where am i meant to get this gear though? outside of m+. i cant upgrade my pvp gear for another 2 weeks i think cause of renown.
exactly. i have never claimed to be more than a 50-50 player but still this seems a bit silly. i dont even care much about rating. im after the spider and mounts. (and achieves/transmogs!) my best is 1.9k, but i think we could have gone further if it had not been the end of the season. (i barely got my hippo.) i would be happy with 2.1k, but i would be as happy with 1.5, as long as it counts towards spider.
most groups in lfg dont even bother with objectives
they just want to get some honor from losses
hence the middle fighting

Actually i don’t understand that elitism, if we take a look on https://www.xunamate.com there is more games in RBG played than 2 x 2 arenas. There is much more time you need to cr8 a grp and time played in it and there is x5 more players. A lot of players do RBG.
Let’s say i need a rogue for my rbg lfg and i check you.
Only 15% versatility, 4 games 0 win => you’re totally new to rbg
Rogue is used as a defender or invader, he’s not in teamfight on most maps
It’s a key spot, you want a good rogue
LF RBG community that accepts you for low cr rbgs or do your own group.

You won’t take low cr or 0 cr players, coz MMR will be lower. The same goes for who looking only low cr players, they don’t need players for example with 1800, coz they mostly undergeared or alts even without legy, they will get highter MMR and pop against geared player or vs good coordinated grps. Its a auto-lost game. U can pick up low cr if u know him and he will help ur grp.
I think he means that grp dont want take him in general.
Just saying, it’s probably a reason why you’re not being accepted. Tbf I’ve only did one key this season and I’m 199.

I’d suggest trying to get your friends in if ur struggling to get into groups, or Just form yourself with other equal minded players 
rbgs Can be a tad hard to get into since Everyone and their Mother expected to get very high exp’d People only to join them. Just form with friends and spam que
This is the mentality of most players, they only base people on ilvl and current cr.
Wich is, no offense, complete horseSh#¤t.
If he has high xp and no cr, i would take him any day. Even infront of someone who has decent cr and decent xp. Xp isnt something you can farm in 10 games, but cr is.
A 3k rogue can do MAD work with mediocre gear, than some mediocre xp’d rogue with good gear.

I’ve learned in the hard way, and what I suggest you is that you create two different gear one PvE and one PvP, the one you really want to focus in this case is in your PvP gear, start with getting every single aspirant / sinful gladiator in each of your equipping slot, and upgrade the current aspirant up to rank 5 (in less than two weeks you will be able to upgrade up to 7)
You also want to focus on getting more versatility up to 20% and getting the right enchants and also legend power (update the legendary armor asap as high as you can)
Also and finally I recommend you to check some youtube battleground guides and spam the normal random battlegrounds (not epic, normals) so you can get acquainted with each zone within each battlegrounds and how can you exploit them in your favour as a rogue, so you can build up basic experiences that will eventually help you understand your functions in the rated content.
Very important Make sure you are queued with people of your same MMR in this case players lower than 1.4, and so on as you climb the ladder, for example when you hit 1.6 MMR, stick with a team that has 1.6 MMR (each member) This will help you gain more points and suffer less deductions per lose.
Hope this helps and don’t feel demoralized, just understand your class’ functions and how you can exploit in the battlegrounds to turn the tables in your team’s favour.

this season. i was 1.9k in 8.0, and played a few during cata. also have 6000 various bgs under my belt.
also, what vers am i meant to have? im 16.27% standing in my covenant, (that being from almost full pvp gear) but the 2 piece trinket will only show in a bg? (increased by 40%)
lots of ppl ask for 20% versa nowadays which is higher than 184 ilvl
the 40% increased is not shown anywhere so i think it does not count
Rogue is one of the most played classes so the competition for a spot is going to be high, just make your own group and you’ll always have a place.
Yeah I get regularly declined on my arms warrior 196 aswell, hunter too
If you want fast invites, healer and tank is the way to go.
