As in the tittle, blizzard you killed us as a class. While you reverting shams nerf( when they’re in similar situation as mages before 11.0.5) you didnt tune us at all. RN arcanes are worse than 90% classes in m+ (nice rng aoe rotation), they are worse than 60% in ST, and we still doesnt have any tunes ???
At least revert arcane blast and barrage nerfs, that was unwarranted nerf at all.
We deserved sunfury nerf, but not for main spammable spells.
Beg you open logs and watch that all 3 specs are at the bottom and thats impermissible for class that doesnt have heal or tank spec
Rotation changes is ok, i can deal with it, but this heartbreaking nerfs of arcane blast and barrage, i really feel myself burnt out. Spend so many time, for gearing and afterwards become one of the weakest class in one weak, that sucks.

Mages have 3 dmg specs and all of them are now rubbish. I am tired of that some classes which can do heal or tank do more dmg then pure dmg classes. Terrible design.
Anyway those changes to classes here and there its for artifical pressure to players to spend tons of time on another classes (or spec - so gear change mostly) which are top at the time.
Ideally classes should be roughly equal (Some have better AOE some ST thats fine) and people should play what they like and not forced to play what is not nerfed.
It looks that after patch (when they are boosting another classes also) the mage will fall to bottom. Which is silly but thats how they care about customers
Balance is a myth atm , half the population in m+ is playing shamans , dk’s ,evoker and paladins last time i checked theses classes had more representation daily in keys than ALL the others together . Its hilarious to think that they change every now and then the hero talents to force ppl to play a different hero talent tree but they do nothing about this . Wouldnt mind to much if this was a free to play game but its not , blizzard needs maintain some “level” or else we are paying for a bad service .
Im loving it, Blizzard is spitting in our faces but i will have the last laugh when my subscription ends. Very dumb people working there, i bet if they would work on truely balancing all specs they would make more money by throwing more occasional cash grabs like the bruto mount which i didnt buy because of this lack of customer respect they have going on.
It was a good game but they killed it for me.
Lots of good players were excited when Blizz reworked Arcane and introduced new dynamic playstyle. Finally Arcane was fun and competitive. Then they killed the new playstyle with those nerfs introduced in mid season. They reverted nerfs for shamans and other classes. Result: players that came back to retail only because of this new playstyle left and now playing classic.
Looks like they’re coming for Fire in 11.1, reducing the number of instants we have, so that we actually have to cast Frostfire Bolt and Scorch .
On the upside, there are plenty of buffs, unlike Arcane.
Developers’ notes: We’re happy with where Arcane’s gameplay has landed after their 20th Anniversary Celebration update changes. Our primary goal in Undermine(d) is to simplify the number of variables one has to consider when casting Arcane Barrage.
The devs may be happy, but the community sure as hell isn’t.
