Turn the Scarlet Crusade into the savers of the Alliance, Thoughts?
Or must they really be beaten once again?
Give them a break! they are living in a Zombie Apocalypses after all.

Well, if you are killing soldiers of the Light, than you can become a hero in Shadowlands. So, I wonder if it works in both ways?
Are Scarlet Crusaders actually a heroes on the realm of the Light? Or after we kill them, they go to Bastion?
Anyway, I donāt see any crimes from Scarlet Crusaders against Alliance and the World it self.
There are some characters from Scarlets who are alliance affiliated, like Renegades (although not clear what happened) or Mariella Ward. Even Whitemane can be met in Stormwind in Shadowlands prepatch.
Not sure about saving the alliance, but there is something odd about how much attention they attracted from dreadlords. Pair this with Sylvanas looking to confiscate books about Lordaeron history and unknown forsaken asking to retreive books from Scarlet Monastery. Or maybe itās just my imagination.

āThe bigots were the true heroes all along!ā is not a message Blizzard will consciously send anytime soon (hides Daelin behind the curtain- I said consciously!). If the Scarlets were to save the Alliance it would either be an accident on their part, and would only cement them as jokes who canāt do anything right⦠or after a change of heart that changes the nature of the order entirely. I donāt know why someone who actually liked the Scalets would want that.
Well, after all the effort dreadlord put into destroying them, just out of spite I would like to see some efforts to seek for ways of dealing with the remains other than killing all of them. But there are not enough rpg-elements left to use them on such things, all were used on keeping the covenant abilities separately.

We have a Scarlet ambassador standing in Stormwind since classic - https://www.wowhead.com/npc=12336/brother-crowley
Well, I for one am all for a return of the Scarlet Crusade. Fighting an enemy who turns the other cheek all the time is no fun at all.
Maybe Turalyon will let him out of the basement, who knows?
Eww no! Only Sally Whitemane was cool and she is now a member of the Ebon Blade, having forsaken the Crusade entirely.
If blizzard ever would turn the crusade into some sort of alliance friendly faction you can be sure that it would lose much if not all flavour, the things that makes them interesting.
Sure you and me and the rest could imagine some sort of shady dealings where the Alliance would subsidize the scarlets as an uneasy alliance, a bit like the grim totems but with less omelettes.
The kind of conflicts that such a match up could create where they end up being more trouble then worth.
Be certain however blizzard would either 1 have us turn on them almost immediately or 2 water them down so much that they basicly would be slightly edgier argents.
What makes them interesting to you? Other than how persistent dreadlord are in attempts to eradicate them by turning into enemies of everyone.

To be honest, thatās not given. Their main enemies are the undead and their main objective reclaiming Lordaeron. They were not a āhuman-only organizationā, they had high elves and dwarves in their ranks before:

The story is murky with retcons and everything, but as far as i know, most of the paranoia was caused by Balnazzar. If the Scarlets wanted to redeem themselves, I think joining the Alliance would make sense. Would certainly rather see that than another dumb ādreadlord tricked them lelā again, either make them Alliance-aligned or donāt revisit them at all.
So? They are not the only onesā¦
Forsaken and Blood Elves lived in a zombie apocalypse as well for a long time, and despite they both could be jerks like the Scarlet Crusaders and both prone to demonic corruption just like the Crusaders with Balnazzar (Varimathras for the Forsaken, Kaelāthas for the Blood Elves), they are not special snowflakes just for that, and they are not losers who make enemies out of everyone just to be beaten into a pulp times and times again to the point that everyone is surprised how can the Scarlets still be around (and indeed, Blizzard had to create a āspecial reasonā for Whitemane to be able to return so many times, making her incredibly powerful and skilled in the art of resurrection when itās supposed to be very difficult to perform in lore, until she was killed permanently at least)
Honestly they might have accepted the races who are more āhumanoidā (meaning looking like Humans), although for High Elves to be accepted in the Scarlet Crusade is quite nonsensical because:
Why should High Elves be concerned in reclaiming Lordaeron from the Undead and for the Humans when their own homeland was full of undead anyway too
They have to dress red to join that organization and in that way they would have easily been mistaken for Blood Elves and therefore killed.
But anyway as I was saying, the Scarlets might be willing to accept the more humanoid races like Dwarves and Elves, but in the Allianceā¦Draenei? Night Elves? Freaking Worgen?? Freaking Elves who use the Void? No way in HELL they would accept to be around people like that that easily, in fact they probably hate the guts of Anduin for accepting them into the Allianceā¦
Wow didnt expect this tread to get any replys really lol.
But yes early days of crusade it had other races and you know this so lets more on - later on we also had the scarlet renegades who as you know were pro alliance not only that from insight in the quest text at the time, the leader Joseph, actually believe up until cata anyway that there were High elfs in the crusade even in his time, when you report to him about Bloodmage Thalnos - who while undead (joseph didnt know) - the scarlet renegades would of believed that yes high elfs were in the ranks of the crusade.
Other examples Joseph gets excited of the idea of Night elfs aiding him more non humans, - I bring this up becuase it is an insight and thoughts of a random crusader within the crusade and what we find out is
He fine with working with other races and even believed High elfs were in the crusade from what we see from his telling of Bloodmage Thalnos.
To end people like to just throw the racist card at the crusade without taking in the complexities of there situation, living next door to the forsaken and scourge two groups who hunt them from insight at Solliden Farmstead, we are often told the forsaken are the victims and the crusaders are the evil guys but honestly its sorta the other way around no wonder the scarlet crusade hates the undead and are untrusting of all outsiders besides freaking out about the plague and who is carrying it.
As for the dreadlord thing the crusade isnt the only group who has had problems with an dreadlord.
My biggest gripe with my crusade fandom will probably be the dreadlords, in away they where an early example of blizzards āpeople commit evil acts because they selected purple team colourā
Their backstory, what they went through, the sheer stress and mental duress the surviving members of the silverhand in Lordaeron where under where more then enough to end up like they did. A dreadlord at the top, making them mean through spreading fake news cheapens the humanity of it.
