Turning off chat bubbles ONLY DURING combat

I would like to keep chat bubbles on while there is no combat going on. But once in a fight, I would like them off. I know this is possible, because long time ago I’ve posted this and someone on here have made a script. Unfortunately I have since gotten a new pc and lost that script, and, some bug happened with the forums for me where my history/activity have been erased even though I’ve been active here since like MoP.

Could someone please point me in the right direction? Maybe there is an addon, or weakaura. Any help would be appreciated.

Recommed leaving them on, they’re used heavily by bossmods and weakauras these days for coordination.

That said, you could setup a WA to toggle the CVar on combat.
