my main is healer since wotlk and i never was really bothered about this before. But I tried to do a bit of dps as melee on my monk and I find it difficult to discern if my target is in front of me or behind me and I have great trouble to see the ground effects and projected textures you need to avoid to stay alive because of the truckload of ball of shiny light from the others’ spell animations. If i turn settings down, it will also decrease my own spell effects. Is there a way to simply TURN OFF the other player’s spell effects? or at least minimize it to a very very low glow instead of a bloody glare of cartoon-like cloud. Any suggestions would be appreciated, cheers

We can’t do anything about that but i would love the opportunity to turn it off. Big quality of life improvement.

If you are like me and play on low settings you don’t have this problem
Besides the ton of magic effects I get bombarded and confuse me, as a melee my biggest problem now is that I cannot position myself properly during pull thanks to the 3-4 dh’s at every raid metamorphing at the beginning.
