So can we talk about making a zone around the Community Feast soup area where no toys can be used, in particular training dummies and punching bags? They make everything happening in and around that area worse both graphics wise and in the sense of getting things done properly.

Also the way I see it, you should just be spamming your DPS abilities anyway to help move everything along a lot quicker (whether to have a task to do or not), so having a training dummy there just gives you something to target and cleave down anything around it.
What annoys me is the people just standing around doing nothing slowing causing the lag by just existing in the area leaching the rep.

One might not be so bad, but when you have over a dozen dropped all it does is lag everything out, so yeah make it a toy free zone.
Nah, the lags not caused by training dummies. The lag is caused by poor game design by coaxing all the players into 1 tiny area all at the same time.

Forgot to add, while active the feast should 100% be a no toy, no mount area.

Menu - support - submit feedback! That way it gets to the right people quicker than hoping they see it on the EU forum over the holidays.
If the customer support window is slow/laggy point your camera up towards the sky, don’t know why but it helps.
They do need to make the area a no mount, no toy zone! I’ve even seen people put the gnoll tent over the NPC so you can’t pick up the weekly quest, pure trolling!

Its fine with loads of players doing the feast lag kicks in when they drop the toys.
maybe people should just learn to read the target name ?
everything there is fine. no need to block people from doing stuff. especially when its supposed to be a fishing village and we have fishing toys.

Merely in a small area around the soup bowl. Shouldn’t bother the fish unless you’re fishing in said bowl.

Sounds like not a place for me. 5 fps horrors.
Unless you want a warrior to sit there spamming whirlwind to add little damage but more HP to the spawned targets the cleave targets of yours only makes the rest slower to kill.
And surely if the people standing around adding lag annoys you the idea of less taxing abilities being spammed on useless targets is only a help? Certainly can’t hurt.

The busyness of the event is what makes the event fun, imo. The toys are just all part of the fun.
The lag is a lot less than it was 2 weeks ago, almost Zero in fact. But if that’s still a problem for you, then maybe try a less populated server. I have joined groups for various events where my lag has gone from Zero to insane just because joining a group made me switch shard.
People actually do things during the feast? I just sit afk for those 15 minutes while watching youtube or something.
Then you get one of those Fishing or buy this tasks which require you to actually do something and not just wait for a timer. Which means you’re not getting any more Rep, and you’re holding off the next person getting a task because you’re holding up the queue.

The tasks are varied
So far I recieved:
Jump in the couldron and stir the stew
Buy a hunk of blubber from a nearby vendor (and throw in the pot)
Get a fish from another vendor (and throw in the pot)
Fish up some fish from a nearby special pond (and throw in the pot)
Taste the soup and tell the chef your oppinion
Tenderize the fish
Kick back the fishes
Stomp the hermit crabs
Encourage the Chef to cook better (with extra buttons)
Encourage the helpers
Standing around easily could end you don’t finish the weekly, nor recieve enough reputation
And sadly yes… people are horrible in this event, pounching bag, toys, or just paring theiur brutusaur to the quest giver

But you don’t need to do the tasks and they will eventually disappear. While afk I get cca 350 rep, while being active I get around 500. Definitely better to just be afk.
