Blizzard developers should consider the fact that not everyone is excited to waste time and vigor collecting garbage like 1g worth fish and random vendor trash and redesign this “feature”.
Either upgrade the loot table with items that make people collect other treasures (ie knowledge points items or Primal Chaos), change minimap icon or even better give the option to turn off the tuskarr trash icons completly to reduce mess on minimap.Dragonflight is friendly expansion to players so far but such small annoying things spoil the overall impression.

What are you talking about?
You don’t have to loot chests, if that is what you mean. It says on the minimap what kind of treasure it is, though I am not sure which one it is. I don’t recognize any Tuskar treasures of significance.

I have seen it discussed on forums that The Tuskar boxes are actually a good source of Gold, as some of the Vendor trash in them are quite valuable.
I’ve noticed this myself, but have never set out to farm them.
However, I do find it frustrating when I’m looking for the Weekly Profession items from Dirt Piles and Backpacks, and all I can see is Tackleboxes everywhere.

Yeah, it’s annoying. Allow us to turn off the tuskarr tackleboxes or give them another icon so I can just mentally ignore them.

I have done a couple of laps of DF and got a few thousand gold at a time vendoring stuff, get fish, leather, coins, primal chaos, and some items are a few hundred gold each - easy farm etc
When I want to chill do this activity otherwise ignore them
A little dumb question, but what are the Tuskarr boxes?
The only treasure I’ve seen thus far are dirt, scout packs, magic elemental boxes and a few treasure chests in caves… though I’ve not reached Reknown 30 with Tuskarr yet (I’m at 26 or 27, not sure).
Tuskarr Tackleboxes can be found around lakes, the sea and rivers of the Dragon Isles once you have Renown 27 with the Iskaara Tuskarr
And one you unlocked it, all of your allts will see them

Mostly grey junk ittems with vendor price ranging 1g - ~500g

I once found a draconic recipe in a bottle in one
Ominous Conch sometimes for random lunker in the water
Very rarely primal chaos, tuskarr totem or blue or purple skillpoint thingies like in every treasure
Not seen artifacts in them so far
If you are bored and farm these for an hour or two, you could get some pocket change (5-7K gold), but not really worth it

That explains why I have no idea what the OP is talking about.
+1 to this. When I’m looking for those final five or ten sparks of life to complete the Warmode quest and there’s these tackleboxes everywhere when they don’t contain sparks. 
This annoys me, too.
Dunno, maybe it’s a design policy analogue to how herbs and ores aren’t distinguished/selectable by type.
I wish I could unlearn those boxes, and not see them at all.
You dont loot it for the fish. you loot it for the chances for recipes and the trash items gold wich sometimes can give you 500 g in a single box.
Fishes are not worth anything anymore long before people unlocked the tuskarr boxes. Because people were massively farming lunkers and casting nets, giving so much free fish.
You can disable in Rarescanner and maybe Handynotes. Unfortuantely, you still can see all grey tuskarr boxes . I dotn undertstand how they are thinking abotu it.
whats wrong with seeing the boxes tho? some have like 30 pieces of tuskarr spices or whatever in it wich is an easy 500g. And they also are numerous and close to eachother so easy to pick up
Free gold is always nice
Tho they do sometimes cover herbs and ores on the mini map i guess. Treasures should be an option for things you want to track on your map
Nothing really wrong with them, except maybe they give false hope you found something, like a lost pack, magic chest, and your minimap shows grey arrows everywhere 
but those give stuff the same worth tho. tuskarr boxes also can contain the tuskarr totems and also give good grey items for sale. Its literally the same thing. And atleast tuskarr boxes can give golden/silver/bonze coins of the isles as well.
Its the magic chests wich are often underwhelming with its treasures concidering you need to unlock them with a specific element or puzzle. Yet often giving the same as explorer packs

But would be nice nontheless to turn them off, when I’m after some specific thing and the riverside is filled with boxes I’m not looking for
When this opened up for me the first thought I had was : Intern went cut and paste happy and felt they were making a huge difference to the game. Shame let them have the moment even if it is annoying to see 1 million Tuskar junk boxes littering one dirt pile. If you use an addon you can just go and turn off the sound for the boxes. Trust me it helps with your sanity. Unfortunately no way to turn off the visual…yet.
