Twilight Grove 🌙 RP

YOUR moonwell is MY swimming pool! Let’s gooooo!

A few months back all people were allowed in the grove as long as they were not causing problems. Which makes sense. Even if you are an undead, illidari or whatever you picked, since we never liked the entire policing part. After that group left, I believe its back to ‘only worgen and elves allowed’ because somehow a single character can corrupt the entire place. The Grove was always an unstable area where people will either try to hard police it (maybe to have some sense of authority) or let people do their own thing around the area.

Oh nah I’ve seen Illidari in the grove lately
Gnomes
A black dragon

They’ll allow ANYONE in (if they’re a buddy to one of the druids)
But MY Worgen wanting to relax in the grove for a day to calm her mind after being blasted by void against her will?
Nope
She gotta go
She could corrupt the moonwell

It’s WHACK.

They are elves.

/me looks corruptingly at the Moonwell

This really, I’ve seen some whack stuff…
From Druids being hostile against Light wielders who just happened to drop by to see if they could assist with keeping evil monkeys from their Grove as there had been reports reaching our ear.
Mind you, this may have been post Church of We Don’t Talk About, but people went absolutely whack on hard policing a bloody Grove to the point it even went OOC

Seeing my own Guild for example, a few in the Duskwood Community found it fitting to acuse DotF to be the Church by the absolute whackiest headcannon I have ever seen that even Blizzard can’t reach, and that’s saying something (we had different colours, different players, different guild name, different attitude. End of the story one individual got a temporary ban for spreading this misinformation and harassement :+1:)

And I have to admit, it’s left a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to the zone in total (also due plenthora of other reason including Flesh Titan 60001 being conjured)
The Grove is a lovely place, though sadly some individuals think it’s the High Seat of a Kingdom and that Druids should be it’s own enclosed community and shun all outsiders.
Which to me is whack, if a person approaches with good attention and isn’t a leaf thrower, they shouldn’t be griefed over it.

I don’t know, to my experience, there are a lot of friendly RPers in the GRove, who are always open to help u or anything like that. Yeah, I can understand that some few could be hostile to some warlocks trying to reach that place, but wtf warlock forgot in that Grove? And yes. sometimes we all should be a bit more friendly to each other.

I think that people are so eager to judge the majority by actions of few.

I prupose to find an agreement in the middle, where everyone would be happy.

Elune guidance, my friends :crescent_moon:

literally unheard of, Gnomes out of all corrupted races on Azeroth are allowed in?!

Heresy.

How do those few even know the character is a Warlock, tho?

it changes from time to time. sometime’s its been chill, with druids rping with undead, trolls etc and general quality. on the other hand sometimes it’s been druids swarming you like bees asking for your passport

common thing in the latter was one person assuming a mantle of power and deciding it was their tree house and their rules , which tends to be so overtly obnoxious that it pushes rp away from the area. always found that weird considering the rest of the alliance took in elves after their tree burned to the ground but why look for sense in duskwood

Why didn’t Arthas dump all his dead friends in moonwells then

As they…should ? xD

Because Moonwells in Eastern Kingdoms is a fabrication of WoW. They basically didn’t exist back then and are retroactive :). Plus blowing up high elves is funnier.

Five curses and spite live in each gnome, this truth can’t be ignored. The best way to get rid of a gnome, is to throw that gnome overboard.

Would love to see you try.

It’s an old song btw, just for clarification. I don’t mind gnomes myself.

Immediately recognised the song from your post, and now I’m on an Oxhorn nostalgia trip (for the nth time).

Oxhorn…

:grimacing:

Another childhood treasure, ruined on the altar of his own sweaty spite.

I don’t know what became of him after his wow machinima days, and by the looks of it I don’t want to know either.

It’s probably miles better than the caca that people RP in Darkshire.
