Hello, i am working on 3 twinks, i want to make them to help my friends level faster and 1-60 seems to be the longest bracket i can be of assistance, I am going with Hunter Dps, Priest Healer And Warrior tank, i was just curious is this effective? if i get to level 60 and gear up will i be any better than with just normal leveling gear?
Due to scaling there is virtually no difference really, in dungeons through LFG mobs will scale to your level and what not.
So, hate to be a joykill here, but you won’t really be effective at all.
The thing you could do though, depending on their roles, is get your healer and tank up and help that way with faster q times if you are doing dungeons.
Yeah, as Tymaar said, you have scaling to thank. And why they scaled low-level dungeons to level 60, while not being able to queue for them all the way to 60 is beyond me. All it does is penalise people in your situation and nothing else whatsoever.
Yes you’ll be much more effective than with crap gear.
Prioritize gear with gem slots, enchant everything you can and melt them dungeons.
Arcane mage is your best for dps. Done 2x mage 0-120 in the last few weeks. Didn’t get beat on overall dps once, they are so OP for damage leveling up. Not even exagerating, not once.
Just to add that as Chocoh said arcane mage is a great chioce for dps aswell as survival hunter.
You might want to stop your leveling at 58 instead of 60 for max efficiency because most if not all of your best gear will likely be available and you’ll already be in range for all random finder dungeons
Do consider if the extra talent at 60 is worth it to offset those 2 extra levels.
To top it off you’ll probably enjoy having northrend engineering for the googles.
I’m not too familiar with twinking in that level range but I think most of the gear will be BC blues, you might want to check with the fellas at xpoff .com
I already play nothing but tanks and healers, i find dps boring so then i can’t help more than i already do
