Why do some people twink?
Is it because they are REALLY bad pvpers at max level?
or
Is it because they are worthless members of society and the only way to feel good about themselves is by killing regular players?

Varius reasons, I twink because I enjoy creating my character and figuring out which gear would work best for me and which enchants. Truth be told, I have more fun creating twinks than I do playing them.
I do also enjoy the aftermath of my twink, which is making people like you cry.

Bad at max level would mean they are also bad at low level? There's not a great deal of difference in power between twinks and enchanted non-twinks. Having trouble on your lowbies? Spend 500g on some cheap enchants for your heirlooms; problem solved.

You can't really make stupid rant threads like this and then accuse somebody else of being a worthless member of society.

I am not crying, I am simply helping my rage by creating a forum post about it.

I used to twink.
It was pretty fun doing insane damage and it enabled you to do some crazy 1 v X scenarios.
Also, it was really fun watching players like you cry.
P.S. You’re probably a REALLY bad pvper at max level too.

People twink becouse few reasons
- They enjoy the old content and be a ton with it.
- New content is boring for them.

Still on certain levels you don’t get the passive and the active abilitys.
That will never happen. Remenber the begining of xpoff segregation 4 addons ago? Were they happy? How long till they started crying about heirlooms and enchants?

But if you read this thread and my post history, you’ll see that it’s basically full of me arguing with people crying about twinks. Some of the people crying about twinks even mistook characters with cheap throw-away enchants as twinks. Some guy gets killed by somebody with enchanted heirlooms and then he yells “omfg I hate twinks”; those are the kind of people who I thoroughly enjoyed making cry.
The more you attempt to attack somebody out of something that brings them joy (my case was character creation), the more they’re going to resent you. If somebody is going to whine at me for doing something in an online game, that isn’t breaking any rules; then I’m going to do it more, and I’ll get even more enjoyment out of it.
And yes, I was the guy who used to place toy train sets in Alterac Valley.

I used to twink, and back when I did, it was for playing the expansion and raids that I loved.
Back then it was like:
Real Twinks don’t use Heirlooms, but BiS raid gear gems and enchants for their level.
Heirloom twinks are twink- wannabees
It was all about the raiding, HC dungeons etc, the BG was just a bonus, and YES it was funny to go in, wearing your raid gear and wreck havoc… Not that it was fair, just fun.
Today though, I am not quite sure how twinking works… if it’s even near the same with new scaling and zone levels. But it still bothers me that the majority do not get what a twink is. And the minute they see someone with enchanted looms, they go bananas and yell “TWINK!!”
