Twisting Corridors SUX - I completed solo layer 1, didn’t die even once, had still 1400 phantasma (nothing to buy), but it took me 2.5 HOURS.

If I end my work at 16:00, got to home at 17:00, eat and do something, I can start your TWISTING CORRIDORS at 20:00 and maybe - MAYBE - I will finish it at 22:30 and I will can go sleep then.

This is the worst design I have ever seen.
If I wanted to spend 2.5 hours IN ONE DUNGEON I would be playing WOW CLASSIC not a Shadowlands.
And we can’t even leave Torghast after - let me say - 6th floor, SAVE it (somehow) and finish it later.
No! You have to spend 2.5h with computer beating this boring easy $#@$@#
And remember - DON’T PEE - becuase in Torghast there are many random effects that can kill you if you will be AFK for 2 minutes.
Hey and what about DISCONNECT on 17th floor?
Do you imagine that your Internet is offline for 30 minutes, Torghast kicks you out and you have to start it again?
and this is why you gear up your characters and don’t stay at 180-190 ilvl, goes faster with higher gear (plenty of ilvl 190-223 things on auction house) gogo buy them tokens.
at the start of each floor you have an immunity bubble, then you can do whatever you want
If the first layer took you that long, that’s not a game issue.
Tragic, really. How dare they add content to the game thats not doable in 5 minutes?!?!?!
There are no “random” effects if you stand in the bubble next to the vendor which is every third floor, you could pee, make dinner, stare at the wall and still be alive.
So easy that it took you 2.5 hours to do the first layer? hmm.
it is doable in an hour, at least with a group, and if you are not into it, remember you only need to do it once for a quest, and even that is optional quest.
Well this is so true… something have to change of only ppl with no life will be doing this !@#$. Tooooo looooong, no savepoint, no dc protection, no break, no live.
And when u got a kid say 1-2y old. U will never finish 1st layer.
I don’t know what the hell they were thinking. 18 floors with no savepoints, with mechanics that prevent you from taking breaks, with the only reward being at the very end, and with utter lack of smooth curve between floors and with the entire reward being based on RNG powers (you were lucky but others go easy-easy-easy-easy-LOLIMPOSSIBLE) - WTF is this design???
How about just 10 floors max after 10 floors you can keep going endless every 10 floors you get a reward or go up a layer if you started at layer 1, anyway agree its way to long, it should be 1 hour max for layer asuming you only have to do it once else 30 minutes, they cant fix it without making some people cry about it, you have a camp that wants challenge and you have camp that does not want to spend hours in thorgast, both are right the problem is if you want both you gonna have to cut floors out, like instead of 6 you have 3 floors for 2 wings and only 9 floors for big layers, that way you can cut the time without removing the challenge, altho it will have to be nerfed least to certain point or the duration wont change of a run.
Well i have 4 characters and even without Twisting Corridors i have lived there to get them all to layer 8 I have calculated that i will need minimum 60 hours played to get them in TS Layer 8, so between 60-80 hours. We badly need everything unlocked with the main to be shared with our alts. Its a nightmare.
Refuge of the damned. This is a buff we get at the start of every single floor and at the vendors. This completely negates the torments, therefore you can go afk.
Yeah, i also don’t understand why cutting edge isn’t an achievement for killing the first boss in the raid /s.
Imagine I have done both layer 1 and 2 in a row today. Only took an hour each but needless to say my brain is pooped and I never want to see Twisting Corridors again. But I’ll do it again tomorrow, and the day after that and the day after that then I get my mount and then I will literally never set foot in Torghast again and deny its existence for the rest of my life.

18 floors.
60 minutes / 18 floors = 3 minutes per floor
So he cleared every floor in 3 minutes including killing all bossess.

Yeah it’s super easy. You tryhard and farm all anima/powers from floor 1 to 6 then you have a guaranteed epic power after first boss which is pretty much guaranteed to be something broken, at least for arms warrior. After that you just rush to floor 12 and next boss only picking up obvious powers on the way. After that you got 2 guaranteed OP powers + whatever you picked up and can rush straight to floor 18 without even bothering to clear if you don’t want to. 50% of the time is spent on floor 1-6, other 50% floor 6-18.
