3 posts in a row you’re legit insulting people and meanwhile trying to prove that they are the wrong ones for playing the game and you’re the one right, for not playing the game. Logic? None. Also using your friend to point out stuff and then saying that you’re not having the same thoughts about him…What?! What are you smoking fella? Honestly if you dont have the physical time to play the game, just dont bother with it. Plenty of other games on the market.
Just did TC Tier 1 took me 43 minutes and one shot the final boss with a mega Eye-Beam.
The first 12 floors are not really needed, just provide a collection on anima cells to pick and then start on the 13th. I died once on floor 16 due to my own stupidity (tried to yolo 4 elites at once)
No, you do not understand me.
So you do have a real friend under those circumstances. Therefor you trash talked your real friend for no real reason. That is what I said to you.
If you don’t know who I am talking about (and you don’t beacause I didn’t give you his name/surname, etc.) it is incognito. So I don’t have a problem with it.
Maybe you have.
But it is your problem, not mine.
And I won’t show you my main because I don’t want to speak with $@$#@ like you anymore.
You just need to know that my main is retri paladin with ilvl 203 and this Twisting Corridors ARE F$$#@$G BAD DESIGNED.
I am out of here now - beacuse like I said before - I have also real life, and have other things to do than writing for 2 hours to no-life people like you.
Goodbye forever!
How is it that people ALWAYS complain.
- too difficult
- too easy
- too time-consuming
- too short
- too mandatory
- not enough stuff to do
- not fun
- not enough time to do everything, there is too much to do
You…don’t…have…to…complete…all…8…layers…within…a…week.
Oh, you have no problem trash talking your friends as long as they don’t know about it?
Again this is a side conversation not relevant to anything. It’s just nice to know that the overly judgmental person to attack my character as soon as I replied to this thread is actually a pretty poor friend IRL.
Because you know I’ll out you for being a hypocrite. You probably spend every night playing WoW, which is fine, but don’t pretend otherwise.
It’s been like 15 minutes.
Cya kid.
Layer 1 took 2.5 hours?
Don’t be a baddie.
Ok but you still only need to clear all 8 layers once. Then there’s zero point to do Twisting Corridors ever again. All the rewards are account-wide.
You don’t need to wait for CDs for every pack you know that right?
Twisting Corridor’s are too long. This is pretty much a fact from any way you examine it, it’s considerably longer than any other content in the game and offers no rewards for it.
Literally just a time sink, which is why I’m not bothering to do it just to save myself a few minutes in the Maw running by getting a mount? Pass.
OP is still coming across as a dick though.
Good thing you can never return there if you don’t like it this much. Wipe your tears
Don’t farm for cosmetics if you can’t handle the heat.
It’s kinda not mandatory besides of the Anduin quest. However I understand if someone wants the pets and mounts (or whatever you get there) it becomes “mandatory”. There will be those who say “it’s too long” and there will be others that say it’s not enough content.
I would say it’s a probably too long for those speccs or ilevels that struggle in Torghast. I read that people need up to 3 hours. On the other hand it was fun to become super OP because of all that powers by the end of the run.
Just don’t rush and try to do all of it in one week people. Regardless if changes come or not you will not stress yourself out this way.
But we do not really have to do that part… We just Gain mount and cosmetics
Its bad enough, if you want to paly out the story you are forced in to that hellhole - really everyone that designed that abomination of a content should have their hands smashed with a mallet - Its fine if you are in to those kinda things, tho’ borderline insanity, but hey, some poeple loved Island expeditions too, but tying even one floor of one layer to a story? Biggest mistake than the forced pvp during the scourge event
You don’t have to agree, but personally I would rather swim with sharks dressed up as a tasty meatmall than touch that vile “content” they are so proud of
As OP said, some of us actually have life and sadly every minute we could squeeze out to play WoW - you know, play, do something that suposed to be realxing and enjoyable? Isntead of a chore - is very precious
Thorgast single handedly demolished any will to stay subscribed lots of casuals… and even if they don’t like to face that uncomfortable truth, the mayority of the palyerbase are not the hardcore elite, but the endless, facless mass of casuals who only stay and spend their hard earned money if they are satisfied…
And don’t even dare to dream about alts… forget them
well. lucky for you, the content can be done at a significantly faster rate, if you que up with others. So go and find 4 more people to play with.
Also, It’s a COSMETIC ONLY EVENT. You get mounts and pets. Not currencies or gear. If you can’t deal with it, nobody’s forcing you to do it.
Also also, the content wasn’t designed for people to faceroll through it. Twisting corridor’s gonna stay for a while. The purpose was so that people could steadily clear it out. So do a layer every now and then. The mount reward won’t disappear.
Also also also, you have resting areas on every level start, as well as layer 3, 9 and 15 for resting.
Learn what to kill and what not to kill. Layer 1-5 took me between 30-45 mins each, Layer 6 took roughly 50 mins and 7 a little over an hour and the final one took me almost two hours but thats because I cleared everything waited for CD’s on some packs and just played it really safe because I just didn’t want to do it again.
I also had a good movie on the 2nd screen that pulled some attention. But It is indeed quite long all though its very optimal and not something you have too do. I would prefer it to be highly tuned at just 6 floors like the others but alot harder.
This is an individual opinion but, I agree. I don’t mind long grinds and grindy content - I play Runescape on ironman for heaven’s sake (yeah it’s my childhood game, sue me).
But I find that Twisting Corridors are too long and takes too much time, in comparison to the gain. I wouldn’t mind a 2-3 hours grind, had it felt meaningful and a strive toward something. But the corridors just doesn’t feel rewarding enough not offer enough variation. You go in, clear trash, seek anima powers. Rinse and repeat for 18 floors. And only at the 18th floor do you know if you’ve gotten the right anima powers to defeat the last boss. If you’re unlucky, tough luck, you’re not going to make it and those 3-4 hours was a complete waste of time.
This in my opinion is the ultimate fail in Torghast. Why bother with it? It’s either frustratingly hard or boringly easy, all depending on what anima powers you get. I find the length as artificial, it’s only there to extend the content, without adding any meaning to it. Though that’s what Shadowlands and WoW in general is today, extending 2 minutes of content over a long period of time, without offering any actual meaningful content in between.
It was quite long session to crawl through all the 18 floors row even it was easy at the same time. I did not time my run but I guess it took about 1h 30min or something like that. Anyhow, it felt kind of long but still okay I guess, however, I can just imagine how much longer it will get at higher layers…
I was wondering, that could there be savepoints, lets say for example after defeating boss at lvl 6 and 12? Next time you come back you can choose to continue at current save point or start over. This would not make Twisting Corridors any easier, just giving people a break and chance to do the rest floors later. However, is this possible to implement or would it cause some technical problems…
Why would you want to run an alt through twisting corridors? The rewards are account wide, as are the achieves as far as I can tell. Why anyone would want to run anything else through that long, quickly boring and ultimately frustrating crap unless you got win animas drop to match your end boss.
Nobody is forcing you to do it?
