Twitch drops for a noob

So Twitch drops. Never done this before and I have some questions.
Do we know beforehand which streamers will have drops?
Do we know when we’ve caught them all?
I read somewhere that you need to watch a stream for a certain amount of time? Then I also read somewhere that you need to watch at least 4 hours, but what if a streamer isn’t on that long?

Thanks

You can stop and start progress with various streamers providing your bnet and twitch are linked.

I kind of explained how the drops work here (using OW as an example):-

We will know closer to the time who the streamers are and twitch itself will show links to eligible streams. I expect most, if not all, of the known WoW streamers to be included.

Any streamers that have opted into settings to have drops on their channel.

Just put on a stream and you’ll get the rewards added to your collection ingame.

You could in theory swap streams. You could for example watch 2 hours of Naowh and 2 hours of Gingi or 4 hours straight of 1 streamer.

It was a learning experience!!!

Youtube drops are far worse, there is no tracking, I’ve had the Overwatch League streams going on their platform for rewards and so far nothing has appeared on my account. At least with Twitch you can see if it’s working.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like it should be fairly painless.

watching twitch for 4 hours…

painless?

You don’t actually have to watch, you just have to have it open on a tab, somewhere.

that is still a punishment!!

just visiting that website…

they should reward me for staying away.
