Again, a modern day PvPer pays a sub as well. They haven’t gone FTP with WoW.
PvPers still do this as well.
I guarantee you that more people would join in on PvP if there were more rewards to be earned from it.
I mean I guess you could lobby for Blizzard to refund people the price of a TCG pack, seeing as that’s the reasonable monetary value at stake here. The eBay madness never had a thing to do with Blizzard or, for that matter, by far most of the WoW playerbase.

its the diference with tgc mounts,elite sets say in game (limites to current season)

Yes it is.
Players are the ones who determined the price.
If availability wrecks the price, then the price was solely dictated by scarcity, which is a pretty terrible metric to base your pricing on. You’ll always run the risk of losing out on your ‘investment’ on these things.
It’s their gd game, ofc they “control” it. Players only have themselves to blame for buying into things solely because of scarcity.
Interconnectivity between platforms and “rewards” on engaging with those systems is a whole another conversation.

immagine everyone walking around with any elite pvp from older expac they dont pay/play,tomorrow noone is playing rated because you can get the set for free after?it would take away the rarity/value/awesomeness of the sets.and noone would care to fight for them and make pvp participation ,me myself would never play 1000+ rated bgs this expansion to get them and more than half of them created by me,just waited and get free.lol

This is not about blaming Blizzard. This is about asking them to be more sensible with such decisions.

Obviously it’s worse? The vast majority of the time TCG items are bought with real life money by whales, and that makes them just as meaningless as your average store mount.
I hope the Feldrake is the first of many TCG mounts added back into the game through alternative means of getting them.
