Ever since Blizzard opened up the 50 character slots per realm it have been a blessing that I am not finally being able to play both Horde and Alliance actively on my realm but we’re still unable to create more than 1 Demon Hunter which is saddened if you wish to play both factions.
Could we see the limit increased to 2 Demon Hunters per realm so people who want 1 each faction can do so?
Why whould you even want one DH? So why bother getting two of them…
Well regardless what i think of the class, the restrictions quite lame to begin with so I don’t even know why a restrictions even in place. Only reason whould be the starting gear being “worth something” but in the end it’s just a little drop on a endless waterfall these days.
There’s afterall quite alot of things which could be abused by starting multiple DH’s to maybe well… run legacy raids etc. But even if I involve these fringe semi-exploitative things that i could think off. I don’t really see a restriction as a neccesaty. Most players do afterall have tons of 100~ characters these days, so if those things ever was a plan it’s already doable.
I’m acctually fairly surprised that a means to increase your starting level to at least 60 Haven’t been introduced into the game as a basic option these days. Not that I mind starting at 1 or 20, but well when it comes to the leveling for many players to get the heritage armors etc. It’s just a “additional” long grind on classes they most likely already have leveled up to max.
I think for people with all classes maxed the heritage armour should be free. Cause there is no need for Blizzard to stimulate some extra playtime for these hard core fans, they are clearly already hooked.
Would be at least nice to recognize some of their effort this way.
aCTUALLY YOU CAN CREATE 2 ON A REALM. (caps my bad)
Create a demon hunter on one faction, load them up, log out and delete them. Create a demon hunter on the opposite faction. Character restore the deleted dh…
ta-da you now have a blood elf dh and a nightelf dh
It’s an exploit so I whould not risk doing it. Even if blizzard won’t notice it atm. a fringe borderline issue may cause it to be treated as a breach of the ELUA. It’s similar to the “bug” when you restore Azerite armor pieces and get to keep the residuum for the scrapped Azerite piece etc.
I doubt it, this ‘exploit’ as you call it has been around for years and seeing as how Blizz allows character transfers/account merges, both of which allow a person to have 2 dh on one realm, a character restore is really no different.
edit: either way it’s likely the restriction will be lifted in a future expansion similar to dk
Well that’s acctually nice to know. I just figured It whould breach the ELUA given it’s nature.
Well it’s sort of a “exploit” in a sense, since it by passes a restriction of the game. But if blizzard have already at some point condoned it’s “fine”. I suppose It’s an exploit that can be used in good faith then.
