My wife stopped playing WoW for a while but I keep her main updated by doing raids/dungeons with her account on her PC. However, is it possible to play with both her account and my account at the same time on my PC? I know I can open multiple accounts but it’s “her” account I am talking about with different login ID. I am not talking about multiboxing, just to keep her on /follow so I can finish up callings/wqs at the same time for both of us.
This is considered account sharing and it’s bannable.
Don’t stress, usually as long as you’re not PVP boosting Blizz probably won’t care. But I don’t think you can be logged in to two accounts, Blizzard wouldn’t want to support that either.
You can do that, yes. There is an option in the desktop app to allow you to run multiple instances of the app, you can then use each to launch a wow instance from each account (or you can log in directly from WoW) - I’ve done it both ways.
That’s what I want to know tbh. Cuz I already help her character on her PC but it has become time-consuming lately So wanted to know If I can play with both of our accounts at the same time or not. If it’s bannable, well then better consuming more time than getting a ban
If you were to do it on same PC you would have to be very careful about how you control both yours and her characters as WOW is trying to crack down on people multiboxing and controlling multiple accounts with one mouse and keyboard.
