TWW Alpha Can't Login

Recently my account got flagged for TWW Alpha. It showed up on my launcher and I went to install it right away. However, when I launch Alpha it goes straight to a realms list with all realms incompatible.

Now usually this means I need to update my game, but I just downloaded it fresh, and I checked if the installed versions matches other players versions.

Other players mentioned that they have an account selection screen first when they launch TWW Alpha, I do not. It goes straight to the realm list, which I believe even shows PTR realms (Benedictus, Anasterian…) instead of Alpha realms.

Things I’ve also tried but with no good result:

• Reinstall WoW
• Reinstall Battle.net
• Launch directly from WoWB.exe
• Change battle.net regions
• Install on another PC that never had battle.net or WoW installed.
• Scan & Repair
• Delete Interface, WTF, Cache folders
• Launch as admin

I’m out of options at this point. It seems something went wrong when my account got flagged for TWW Alpha.

I’m posting this issue in this part of the forums because I can’t post it in the TWW development section, likely because I need to create a character first, which I can’t.

Let me guess, you mean the “unknown download (wow beta)” download?
If that is the case, then i have to tell you that you did not get flagged for alpha.
Alpha is not for us common folks, it’s just for the media and top guilds and so on.

I did get that download too and many others as you can read in the US forum.
Imho this was an unplanned sideeffect of getting the beta client rdy for launch.
They announced it for next week.
