I am playing WOW since vanilla and except DF, I liked all the expansions.
TWW : Champions and Heroes, Azeroth needs you. Again. - boring and predictible.
Enemies : one hit and they are dead. I have an action bar full of spells but they are useless. Even a toddler can play this game.
Anduin : why is he looking like a beggar and has tears in his eyes all the time ?
Speaker Brinthe : with the stuff on the back it looks like a character from Spiderman movie.
Too many SCI FI elements in a fantasy game. I know there were sci fi elements since the begining of the game but now there are too many. Or maybe in the future Blizz will want us to fly in a galaxy far, far away to discover new worlds and wonders and to help the inhabitants to fight against another greater evil.
I finished a mine : another type of grinding. For me is boring, I never liked grinding.
I have several alts but I have no desire to play with them because the story will be the same no matter if you are H or A.
As I said in other post, I will finish the main story, dungeons, raids and after that I will stop paying the subscription. If Blizz will bring back a good story, the war between A and H, if Blizz will give up all this power of friendship stuff, happy songs, everyone fighting side by side to save the galaxy etc , I will return.
WoW has never had good Alliance vs Horde war story so i have no idea what you are on about. The last time we had good Alliance vs Horde war it was the 90’s.
If the story is so important to you surely you should know why Anduin looks the way he does.
TWW slaps. Get to know.
Talks about the story, but doesn’t understand why Anduin struggles… maybe you should pay more attention? So far, this expansion has been phenomenal to me. I love the story. Don’t care one single bit about “too many women”. And another thing; Do you expect enemies to be hard when you’re probably fully geared at the start of the expansion? If all you have is leveling gear, its quite the challenge actually. Delves is also amazing and very challenging. SCI FI elements has always been there in Warcraft since WC3 at least.
…too many sci-fi elements. We’ve gone to space. Invaded another entire world. Had an intersteller interdimentional fleet try and invade us.
But shiny Dwarves and a void entity, that’s a step too far apperantly.
It’s the panda argument all over again.
cows are fine, pigmen are fine, dogmen are fine, ratmen are fine but a PANDA?! That’s just too far!
So all those robots in vanilla were still fantasy? How about the literal space ships that they added in TBC? Or discovering that many races in WOW are actually decended from robots in WOTLK? Or that all creation began with robots in Shadowlands?
WOW has always been a fantasy universe with SF elements, much like Star Wars. This latest expansion is no different.
More of the same retail wow that I dislike.
I don’t know why I expected anything else.
I rather be at work.
I would say it is better than Dragonflight so far. At least we are not into new Disney tier plot extended for hundreds of hours. Scale looks good and generally story sounds reasonable.
Characters are still obnoxiously written with virtue signalling instead of personality, but that is not something new, and we even got couple more or less interesting ones. Also we don’t have another round of dumb reuse of classic Warcraft 3 characters.
I’d say - if by next story arc they finally fire remainig people responsible for individual character design and writing, then hire instead someone competent - TWW or next chapter in Saga may look very promising.
Have… we not done this already?
Delves amazing and very challenging How disconnected from reality you must be to write this.
I like the arbitrary timegating the most. Content is actually fun but I love to be told how much and when I can actually enjoy it.
I mean we are only on Tier 3 of what was it 12? So maybe it will actually become some what challenging.
