TWW graphics seems blurry

Hey, since TWW came out, I’ve encountered a strange bug with my graphics settings. All the textures seem slightly blurry to me, which I didn’t experience in Dragonflight. I haven’t changed any settings when switching from Dragonflight to TWW, but the graphics now seem much worse than in Dragonflight.

I’m running a 2k monitor and have the render scale set to 75% (1920x1080). I know that increasing the render scale to 100% would most likely solve the issue, but it drops my FPS significantly. In Dragonflight, the game looked much better with the same 75% render scale settings.

Does anyone have any tips on what to do about this? Thank you very much!

The renderscale has been buggy for half a year now.
It actually decreases FPS instead of gaining when lowering renderscale.
Are you sure you are actually getting more FPS with 75%?
You can turn on the FPS display with ctrl-R (default keybind).

What’s your GPU?

You can switch upscaling algorythms in the advanced gfx settings under “resample quality”.
Setting it to FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) will oversharpen it, the other settings are blurrier.

Thanks for reaction! (Bloodrain here)

I’m playing on MacBook Pro M1 2020, 16 GB RAM. And yes, when I lower the render scale to 75% I’m getting around 65-90 FPS stable, while on 100% render scale I’m sitting at around 35-50 FPS.

I’m including the current graphics settings I’m running here:
