When I tried the new patch today, a fairly serious bug apparently occurred: Completing the newly added Lorewalker event caused nearly all of my character’s TWW campaign progress to be reset.
I had completed the campaign all the way to the end (which is also traceable via achievements). After completing the new lorewalker event, the start quest for undermine suddenly reappeared in my quest log. If I go to Undermine, everything there is indeed reset again and I would have to essentially replay everything there.
The quest text window even confirms (with the icon in the upper right corner) that the quest has already been completed on my account. But the character I’m currently playing with is the only character I’ve ever played TWW with.
Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do to have this corrected?

You’re not alone. Judging by the comments on Wowhead, it seems that many people are experiencing this issue. I’m experiencing the same problem, and possibly even worse. My Undermine quests were reset as well, but in addition, my Legion expansion quests were also reset even though they were all completed. On top of that, my Dragonflight expansion campaign progress was rolled back to 6/9, even though it was previously 9/9 and all quests were completed.
All I could do was submit a bug report to Blizzard.

Same here! I thought that maybe I had missed something and done some of the quests, but then I realized that I’ve already completed all of them; I’ve stopped for now, because I’m pretty sure it’s a bug that will be solved and that I won’t have to do the questline all over again for no reason at all.
I haven’t checked if other questlines are affected, I’ve just noticed the Undermine campaign in the quest log.
