Us not agreeing it’s a pay to win system is one thing.
However you making claims that we are defending it is just daft.
Nearly every response is a criticism.

It’s so you can actually complete your weekly quest requiring you to do x number of crafting orders.
I have had to send orders to my alts to complete that quest.
When there is no argument to be won resort to ridicule.
Well you said it yourself. You have decided to devote time to it, so yes you have committed to something that most definitely is ruling your life.
My point has never been about the amount of time it takes per week. It is the way an integral part of the game is gated behind time, gold and obfuscation. When ever anyone posts regarding the crafting system, there is always a few complaints. But as with anything in a fan based game instead of trying to fix the issue, many will try to defend it.
No it was an example of how silly it is to consider the currency of the game as Pay2Win.
There is no ridicule. If you are going to apply P2W wrongly to anything involving gold then every action in the game is pretty much categorised as P2W.
It’s highlighting how your application does not work and you don’t understand the meaning of the word.
Are you even reading what you are saying?
Pay to win in video games is generally defined as a video game ecosystem where players can gain an advantage over their opponents by spending real life currency.
On what planet does this not apply to WoW.
You repeatedly say I do not understand the term and yet you spout gibberish. You say all comments are critical and yet there are agreements when I said the system is bad. You have tried and failed at ridicule, and now you are down to the level of gaslighting.
I would genuinely like to see the system improved. Being critical is obviously a step too far for some here.
Pay to win is when you can directly buy the best gear in game with IRL money.
You can’t do that in WoW. You could buy yourself a nice spiffy transmog or a mount in the shop though
pay-to-win : (in computer games) involving or relating to the practice of paying to get weapons, abilities, etc. that give you an advantage over players who do not spend money:
You are twisting the meaning to suit your argument, when we point out what a farce it is to count the in game currency as a pay to win method you get all snarky.
However this has little to do with the crafting system and we might as well get back on topic. I won’t reply to you again on this. There is no point and I fear this will only deteriorate further. I do not gaslight but you are now arguing in bad faith.
I was kind of hoping for a heavy reiteration or overhaul of professions for The War Within. I really don’t like the new design in Dragonflight.
In lieu of that I’m more and more inclined to just dump my Enchanting and Inscription in favor of some gathering professions. They’re at least easier to approach and work with, and you avoid the whole messy crafting meta-game.
But we’ll see. Alpha is Alpha.
I’m not a big fan, the overhaul of the UI is fine and being able to do work orders itself is nice, but would be better if it was tied into the AH.
I think the knowledge side is just convoluted. There is far too much of it and it varies too much between profs. Alchemy was super fast but any gear crafting profession is super slow.
I am not a fan of public orders being able to be left without mats. I have not been a fan of the ranks of materials clogging up my banks and ordeal early on of getting max procs.
I also do not enjoy HAVING to be at a work station to make various things.
Interesting view just to win an argument tbh. Putting out garbage, going to work, raiding every saturday, going to store, camping a mount, working out etc is ruling our lives if that is how you see things.
What isnt gated behind all this? Story, raid lockouts, reputations, rares spawn times, upgrading gear, every single thing is gated
Sure there are complaints, I have my share of them too, humans are not hive-mind and we have differencies. There are complaints about lfr, m+, mount colours, mogs and ofc complaints about crafting system
Sure, those who like it will defend, what is strange with that?
