TWW quest problem

Hello,
I’m back in the game and I’m so excited. I wanted to start TWW as soon as possible, but it didn’t work. I couldn’t find the starting quest. When I first entered the game, it gave me a quest and I accepted it, but now that quest has disappeared. Instead, dragonflight automatically gives the starting task. I did some research but couldn’t find a solution. I’m afraid of following a very old questline. Because I haven’t played and finished any additional packs completely for a long time. I don’t know where to start, can you help me?

You are posting on a level 58. You need to be level 70 to start TWW. Of course, the forum may have suggested a lower character, but I first have to ask: is it a level 70 you are looking for the quest on?

The quest you want is called “The War Within”, and it is forced on you every time you log in as a level 70. It is also available from the Adventure Guide, which you can access as a small red book icon on your bottom mini-bar on the right-hand side.

Second thing: have you actually bought TWW expansion, and when you open your BattleNet client, is it showing “WoW 1 (EU) - The War Within” above the PLAY button?

I have 70 lvl boost, but I haven’t used it yet. and yes, I bought TWW (December 23, 2023) but it does not say WoW 1 (EU) - The War Within where you mentioned.

You bought TWW last Christmas? Was it even on pre-sale then?

It really should say that your account is The War Within. Do you have a second WoW account?

On the top of this page, you will see a dropdown for your BattleTag. If you click on that and choose Account Settings, you should see your Account level. That should show The War Within if you have bought it?

I don’t have a lvl 70 character. That’s why I can’t get TWW missions. But when I first entered the game, I didn’t understand why Khadgar wanted to talk to me by opening a portal from Orgirmmar to Dalaran, I guess that’s why I thought I could enter without lvl 70. But now there is another situation that confuses me: I made the purchase a long time ago and it appears in my purchase history (I only have one account). But it doesn’t say as you mentioned, it just says World Of Warcraft. Also when I want to buy TWW again it asks me if I want to upgrade to epic or Heroic. Should I delete and reinstall Battle.net?

The quest you got to go to Dalaran was The Harbinger. It was just the pre-patch quest for quick levelling and some starter gear at 70. Ignore that. It’s over.

Do not buy anything!

According to your Purchase History, youe account is on the TWW level, and you have a level 70 boost, which you would have got with the purchase. And the Shop knows you have, because it offers you upgrades from the Basic.

But your client isn’t showing it. That’s odd, but if anything it is a Support issue.

When you get a 70, check again whether you get The Wae Within quest. If not, then that’s the time to get into your account level.

Thank you for helping me, buddy. TWW I was relieved to find out why I couldn’t start. But the other account issue made me think a bit. I hope it’s not a big problem.
Thank you very much!

So long as you have only one WoW account, you should be fine, eventually.

Sometimes people make a mistake and create a new WoW account by mistake when buying a new expansion, but as long as you don’t see any more accounts in your Account, and you don’t have a WoW 2 option in your BattleNet client, you don’t seem to have done that.
