be aware that in the 1st day could be a huge lag or queues.

It has gone through my mind. I am on a low populated server though or does that not make a difference nowadays

The login server is the biggest barrier.

Im begining to think maybe using annual leave isnt the best idea haha. Is the beta still active? Considering upgrading to epic edition for the beta and early access

Just log in early enough before launch, then you’re fine.

It has been a little bit better than in the past but yeah I personally wouldn’t take leave for a WoW release.
You know you might still be battling with: log-in, lag and bugs.

Better if you have leave and want to spend it on gaming, to take a week after. You catch up with others with less frustration. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Unless you Play on draenor-eu and server will melt down anyway

On draenor its best to go to sleep earlyvand set up alarm for like 4 AM

I have played most launches without issue for years now.

The americans need a head start they are not as good as us eu folk

I try check what NA’s time like… I knew NA has huge map and many little different hours.
Look like NA had daytime and almost evening for time release.
Reason EU late night. :frowning:

Suck time zone

I was logged in 6 hours before and got tossed off 1 min before launch. Not because of afk, but server threw people off.

That might be less this time since there’s early access. Probably quite a big portion will be playing starting on the 22nd

Unlucky. Never been disconnected unless server falls over. Happened for BfA, but most launches have been smooth.

Even classic ones. We did have around 21 layers on about Classic TBC launch. My layer had a broken dark portal so we had to scramble to get invites to other layers.

Retail just shards instead but its similar tech. The login server does give you a grace period to get back in without having to queue, in the case of a d/c, but its usually around 15 mins.

But you have to accept sometimes things go wrong.

Nowadays, those few days of access to the game before others usually turn out to be tragic and the games are unplayable. People are even like testers at this point, so that it will be ok for the actual premiere.
