Tww War campaign ending (spoilers for those who not did the war campaign)

Are you kidding me,Wtf,The Dark Heart got destroyed,it’s game over for Xalatath, you can’t repair that think, once broken, the power inside was released.
Iridikron has just dismantled the primalist trio only to make sure he will retake the power from Galakrond into Dark Heart and to make sure that Xalatath will use the Dark Heart ,instead she played around like a uncareless child who broke his own toy.Hoping to see Iridikron being angry at Xalatath in next patches in a video.
I am also confused,Xalatath could just wipe out the Arathi with Nerubians and use the Dark Heart to siphon the Old Gods blod, why was she needed us,i just don’t see one reason.
This war campaign was very weak, nothing to get me excited, nothing to turn the tides of battle, there was only one battle and finish, where is the fire, the destruction, the chaos, the despair, nothing just some crap story with few quest,i am also thinking to say that Pandaria war campaign was better then this one.

Well… obviously, this is not the end of the story, but its first chapter. :face_with_raised_eyebrow: What did you expect?

I mean… Xalatath, while hot and menacing, is also quite stupid and full of itself.

Yeah the part where Alleria shoots the only arrow that makes the difference and the only arrow that Xalatath does not dodge despite already having done so, especially since Alleria does a vocal warning does look goofy. Even moreso when Xalatath keeps doing nothing despite being able to kill everyone. This gives me Sylvanas 2.0 vibes, another “mysterious being who has layers of secret plans” (the writers are just incomptent).

This does not ruin the whole campaign for me, but I do hope it gets better.

Xal’atathi is supposed to accompany us through all of the World Soul saga, not just TWW… And I’m allready at eyerolling, when I see her. I really don’t mind a recurring villain. I don’t even mind the comicbook format of always thwarting, but never killing the villain we’ve got going here. Yeah, getting her treasure hit by an arrow (that didn’t even magically change course) is pretty stupid, but powerful villains kinda have to be stupid from time to time for the plot to work.

What I find less forgiveable is how uninteresting Xal is as a character. When we had Knaifu, she was dismissive of everyone, including the old gods, hinting at some differences in politics within the void-faction. DF added to that the idea that all we thought we knew about the Black Empire was propaganda, opening the way for a hint of nuance among the voidies. But now in TWW we have Xal, who… is trying to open the way for a world-eating Void Lord. The most basic of world-ending threats. Why? Because evil, duh. Sorry, but that’s not what I find interesting in a recurring villain.

Xal is too much of an one dimensional villain every scene she is in , i can only think modern star wars. Iridikron would have been lot better main antogonist for the whole arc

I really don’t see why people think more of that one, though. Iridikion seems just as one-dimensional. I guess compared to Xal he has the advantage of having at least some backstory that led him to his nihilism, but the result seems very similar… Though I guess our stony friend has more gravitas, maybe…
