TWW's future and nobody seems to care

All topics focused on classic and housing coming in the next 18 months.

What about retail ? Isle of Siren ? Undermine zone / raid + dungeon. Where’s the hype people ? Why doesn’t anyone seem to care or be excited. We got a roadmap … no applause no one talking about it.

In guild nobody even mentioned 11.2 , just speculation on what type of housing we are getting.

Is TWW that lackluster that the community is just Midnight waiting room ?

Player housing has been requested for over 10 years, naturally this will be the #1 topic of conversation for the next few months.
It will die down, & then revive when the next announcement is made about it, probably at Gamescom.

Frankly, when they announced the three expansions, the only one I really cared about was Midnight.

TWW so far is ok, definitely much better than DF, but I’m not interested in goblin lore and cars, so I’m not excited about the next big patch.

When Ion said we are getting Goblin themed class sets …

What’s a goblin themed evoker set suppose to look like Oo ?

Well, you’re probably not going to see much from it… °cough°

Retail is predictable, its hard to get hyped for something you know is coming. Dont get me wrong, the next patch looks fun, i like the theme and all, but at its core, its no different than any other patch, new raid, new zone, new m+ season ect.

Why am I excited about having a house when I already have an entire fort with a shipyard

That’s depressing but true

Seasons sucked the fun out of expansions

I was hoping for haronir druid AR and got Animal Crossing next expansion, so Im bummed hah

100% this!

Why would a filler patch in a current expansion be more exciting than a main feature that has been requested for years in a new expansion? Stop spreading your gloom.

This patch is your wow life for the next 6 months … put some effort in to be happy eesh

I have no hype. The island doesn’t look interesting and I absolutely despise anything to do with Goblins. So, I am off to classic and other things until the midnight prepatch. It just seriously isn’t for me.

They didn’t touch warbands either.
I think TWW is this and that’s about it. Warbands are also incredibly slowed down.

The focus is already Midnight and most of the things we expected weren’t even discussed. I understand you very well buddy.

My hype for TWW is pretty much gone, and it’s a matter of expecting what we were promised for now, eventually hits with the next expansion but we’re being set for a failure imo.

Also, player housing sounds cool but I’m very inclined for another huge flop just like garrisons were. Literally all the time they’re wasting on that they could deliver on other promises that are so far, just promises. Housing in WOW is like… okay cool but is this SIMS? I don’t get it.

Where’s the content, the old reps, the old content revamp?
The game is just so complicated they need to POLISH and stop adding clutter. Housing is clutter.
And the follow-up on TWW feels like recycling for the sake of having something to show but feels… weak. Idk.

Forbidden reach 2.0. Even has the ring 2.0 mechanic. Whats there to hype about?

Goblins. And a clown for an final boss. Yay. Wohoo. Call me when they make a goblin slayer cross event or something then I may start to care.

The hype for this game died when Korthia released 3 years ago.

I’m excited for patch 11.1 because I love Goblins, but unless they open Goblin’s up to more classes, it’ll fall short of what it could have been. I also don’t care about player housing unless:

  1. I can make gold from it somehow
  2. It has an AH npc
  3. It has a mailbox

Probably because garrisons is forgotten content which hasent been updated since the expansion it came from.

There is hope player housing will be content they carry with the game from its introduction through many expansions to come keeping it relevant and rewarding.

If not expect a huge exodus.

Pretty much my hopes and dreams too.

I play 2 days a week and I like the slower pace that is right now. I think this expansion was made for players like me, playing a lot solo and fewer hours every week.

There is, in my humble opinion, nothing to be hyped about. While the ideas are cool, I’m certain the execution of it will severely lack because they, at this point, obviously absolutely lack development power to sustain their ideas.

Look at TWW. This expansion is a bug infested fiesta. Nothing works proplery, bugs left and right. Portals that drop you off in the middle of the ocean even.

Developers there are just completely overstrained with the shortened release cycles AND the overabundance of new features Blizzard is trying to implement.

I mean honestly… they even struggle with git merge conflicts right now. It’s getting out of hand and they’re overreaching themselves right now.
