I had a question related to my main account I got banned for third party software or something I sent a ticket after blizzard and got a standard reply that I violated terms of use but I did 100% nothing and I don’t use such things i sent another ticket but still waiting for a response i was wondering if there was a live chat or another way to work with tickets i’m now waiting almost 2 weeks for a reply
While mistakes when banning someone do happen, there was a significant one recently where they ended up unbanning a lot of people, they are rare.
However that said, they do not allow discussion of account actions on the forums, so this thread will be shut down as soon as a Blue spots it.
But in answer to your question, no. Ban appeals are handled by a specialist team, not the normal GM’s. The only way to communicate with the appeals team, is detailed in the email you got.
There are no live chat, telephone callback, or anything else, for ban appeals.
I am not sure what you think you could achieve over a livechat or telephone conversation anyway. They won’t give you their evidence. Nor will they accept your evidence, they work off their own system logs.
i understand your answer but i still have question marks why i got banned for that reason because firstly i wouldn’t know how to get cheat software secondly i play this game fair and i always follow the rules and ten 3rd i got banned when i was in a key so i really don’t understand i miss my favorite game and i know this is not allowed on the forum but i still wanted to get rid of my feeling because i feel i am not taken seriously
Third party software means just that.
It doesn’t only mean cheat software. Keyboard macro software can get you banned, mouse macro software can get you banned, autohotkey can get you banned, a debugger running in the background WILL get you banned (as Linus Tech Tips found out), the list goes on and on.
If you use macro software, it must be ONE KEYPRESS, ONE ACTION. Not one keypress multiple actions. Multiple actions will get you banned.
Reshade (a common one) will get you banned, as that alters gamefiles.
I don’t use any of that I just use normal key binds when you go to the menu and click options that’s the only thing I use and the other things you mention im to stupid for that
You don’t have to be actively using them, they can just be active in the background. Like Mouse or keyboard software.
The problem is a lot of people come here claiming to innocent then find something running in the background, maybe even Teamviewer or RealVNC.
