Tyrael’s Charger returning as trading post mount was exclusively part of the Annual Pass promotion back in Mists of Pandaria and then they remove it, and then they put it back in-game store and remove it later and now in the Trading Post. Just bring back the Brutosaur to his vendor
The difference here is that Tyraels Charger was a promotional item, Brontosaur was an item earn through playing the game.
Whilst I would like a Bronto myself, it would be a misjustice just to put it back in the game.
However, it does leave a gap allowing those with it an advantage over those without. So they should replace it with another Mount. Personally I think 1 of the 4 or 5 recoloured versions would be suitable. The original how should remain gone.
Horrible take, those who have it have the advantage as you mention under that. It should never have been removed for that reason alone. I thought this company was for inclusion and all that, well I don’t feel included when others have an advantage over me. As I’ve mentioned before it’s a disgusting FOMO business practice.
Return the Brutosaur Blizzard!
I can’t think of any other time in WoW where a mount purchased from a vendor was removed with the end of that current expansion.
2 million gold Bloodfang Cocoon spider mount was not removed after legion.
Transmog Yak wasn’t removed after MoP.
Repair mount wasn’t removed after WotLK.
According to comments and TSM data it seems like we’re coming up on 2 years and half of this mount not ever appearing on the BMAH. and Blizzard still hasn’t done anything… Snooze
There has also never been a single documented/recorded by addons case of anyone getting the Bruto from the Unclaimed BMAH Container despite the hotfix in shadowlands that happened that we were told was to add back to BMAH rotation and to the unclaimed container droptable as well.
Personally, I find you’re lack of understanding why it shouldn’t be put back as a horrible take.
Replacement with another mount to remove the advantage or even a recolour is fine.
Exactly but they’ll add wow tokens to wrath classic as it benefits them, not us. They won’t add LFD to WOLTK classic or the Brutosaur to retail though, even those things would benefit the player
You haven’t given a good reason to understand
Because you’re failing to observe the alternatives to putting back a Timelimited reward.
Alterantives being recolours or new methods of achieving the same advantage.
As for the original, I can appreciate how much time and effort was involved in earning 5 Million gold to buy it back in BFA. On the other day, I earnt 5 million gold last week in Dragonfight.
Whilst I have no issue with it being available on the BMAH I would be incredibly annoyed if it was put on the Trading Post. It cost 5m gold.
People asking for welfare Scarab Lord titles are irritating.
Scarcity creates value.
If anything can be obtained at any time, then nothing is truly desirable.
i think it’s more of a misjustice to add mounts that came from promotions/store considering pple spent real money to acquire them lol
I agree about Store Mounts. Promotional ones though are simply that… they’re promotional.
I don’t see an issue with them re-using them. But don’t get me wrong, I would rather they used something new.
You’re still not giving a good reason, explain what you mean by that
Just incase you missed it.
That’s great. Can you give me a good reason or are you going to continue to dodge the question?
It didn’t take time or effort though.
Back when it was buyable for 5 mill, 5 mill was about £1000 in tokens on the server I play. I could have just bought it via tokens but since we don’t own our accounts I wasn’t dropping a rack on something tied to an account I don’t own.
5 mill is about 2 bills now, if it comes back for 2 bills I’m buying it.
I haven’t dodged the question.
I have given you a good reasons. You’re either choosing not to read them, or don’t see them as a good reasons in your eyes. That doesn’t matter.
Hey if you have £1000 to spend on an in-game Mount, that’s up to you to decide if you want to spend that money or not. Not for me to judge you (at least openly) about that.
Clearly it does as you think you’ve given a good reason but you haven’t. You’ve simply dismissed the question
Then maybe re-ask your question, because maybe it wasn’t clear enough.
As far as I’m aware you asked me to provide a good reason why I think you have a lack of understanding over why the original mount shouldn’t be returned to the game. To which I gave you the following reasoning:
However, if I miss understood your question, feel free to ask it again and maybe elaborate on what you’re looking for exactly.
