Tyrael’s charger, I missed buying it by three days.

Will it ever be available again?

Do I have to wait another ten years and hope I catch it?

I cant believe I missed it. Thankfully DF has exclusive mounts or seeing this mount around would be very distressing.

This is genuine psychological torture, and a horrible thing to do at the transition of a new year.

I’m curious, How does the brief reappearance of decade gone mount on the store then its apparent indefinite remove make any of you feel?

Is that good?

This is FOMO in a nutshell. Try to see it as it’s just another mount and you can only ride one at a time. So even if you had it you might not use it all the time.

I am sure they will sell it again for short time. And there will be other limited mounts on the shop.

Which gets easier and easier since there are now like 700 mounts.

The only mounts that still make me go “woaw!” are gladiator mounts nowadays.

If you really wanted it, you would have known - its a crappy mount and I have had it since it was initially out as part of the year sub deal. Never use it.

If you are distressed about missing a mount… I might suggest you take time off gaming. That is some weird personal issue. I would be worried about you running in to some actual hardship in life if this upsets you.

Wanted this mount since a million years now. Bought it 5 days ago, used it every single day since and now already tired of it.

Really hope invincible never drops for me.

I have some rare mounts which I have farmed and the hype/joy of having them fades away. Now I’m using the squid thingy from ZM as my go to in all zones besides DF ones.

It is always unfortunate to miss out on a promotion. Lets hope it comes round again.

Wait… it was a holiday only mount? I believed it came back permanently…

tbh, I ended up buying it. I had a really big day on the Auction house, and saw that it was limited, so I cashed in a few Tokens for it.

I rode it once and it just felt a bit rubbish and wrong riding it around. The mount once had a bit of a Legendary status to it, even though it was Promo/Store mount, it was a part of history. I honestly felt like I had no right to be riding it. So I just removed it from my favourites list and I’ll never use it again (and never show it off either).

But I will agree on this one. It’s inclusion on the In-Game shop and announcement that it was only available for 2 Weeks, was absolutely FOMO.

However, the 99.99999% of everything else that some people on these forums seem to label as FOMO is not.

P.S. I’m sure it’ll be back at some point.

I am not sure if it helps you feel better OP, but there are speculations that this mount will be one of many which will show up in the new, upcoming Trading Post? feature.

Hopefully we will see it shop there. Even if it is a low poly mount it still looks pretty decent. A perfect paladin/priest mount.

It’s literally an overpriced outdated model mount. Why would you want that?

It’s so old and ugly. Can’t stand the pixelated edges.

I didn’t notice that it was gone from shop. I always wanted to get one and I was very excited to see it in the shop. I bought ofcourse but I never thought it was gonna be removed. I hope they bring it back, it’s a cool mount. Worths every penny in my opinion.

Thankfully I didn’t miss out of this perfect opportunity to acquire Tyraels again

I don’t think I could bare the mental torture of missing this incredible mount again,

I doubt it’ll be available for another 10 years minimum… good luck with your grief OP I’d probably quit the game if I had made such a mistake

Tbh I didn’t know it was leaving till a few days before when wowhead posted it hence I bought then (fomo I guess) want the annual pass but was a kid. Afaik blizzard never advertised it was limited time so that sucks that you weren’t able to get it

I got it when it first came out and it’s on the favourite mounts list. But since I never really play retail I don’t use it.

FOMO is fine, you do not deserve everything and it is good to see ‘rare’ items and mounts you cannot get - people at the time got them and that is perfectly fine. Why would I want to see everyone in the game with exactly the same mounts and items?

Time Limited content and rewards is fine.

FOMO is a horrible word. I hate the word because I see it being used incorrectly.

But that Tyraels Charger promotion really was just a cash grab.
