So I haven’t had a chance to properly play DF and I’m curious…
Has there been any Paladin lore or any context in regards to the Light or even the Tyr’s Guard in DF?
That aspect of the lore fascinates me.

Short answer is: no.
Thanks. All I needed.
The few paladins I spoke to, and Des included, have been wanting to try and find Tyrhold, but, given there’s been very little current lore on Tyr so far ( and not everybody’s progressed through the Renown campaigns with Valdrakken and Dragonscale expedition yet), we can’t do much with it. So for now, Des atleast is still looking for Tyrhold, and even if he were to find the place, it’s doubtful he or any paladin could get in there anytime soon due to it being a deathtrap filled with malfunctioning guardians and traps.
That said though, this expansion is an exciting time for paladins and followers of the Silver Hand and Argent Crusade, and just humans in general, given we are finally about to learn more about the being whose symbol and ideals the humans took as inspiration. His stories and folklore insipired them so much they even named an entire city Tyr’s Hand, and an entire area Tirisfal.
Cheers Des! <3
In context of Paladins? No.
In context of Tyr, absolutely yes.
Just wait for his reaction when his mind gets transferred to his new body and he finds out there are several Paladin “cults” worshiping his believes (or not so much)…
Just wait for his reaction when his mind gets transferred to his new body and he finds out we the “heroes” killed several of his close friends and comrades who actually did nothig wrong like Archaedas or Ironaya…
Well if they didn’t want to die, they shouldn’t carry around loot.
Survived the Black Empire
Created the Chamber of the Heart (it was funny when Ra and Magni mentioned it, we stayed very very very silent about Archaedas)
A handfull of murderhobo killed him for loot
Glorious fate
Nothing beats the power of zug zug.
Reading his wiki
apparently he might just be “disabled”
Was still beaten up by murderhobos who took his stuff after rudely waking him up.
Okay Tyr, we not killed your friend…
…just beat him so hard, he slipped in to coma
(And don’t mind the other Titanic watchers we offed for good, they had loot too!)
Its somehow even worse, isn’t it?
Yeah
Considering the place was filled with violent Troggs - failed Titan-forged creations who were a bit pissed of for the whole lock them away thing I’m sure - and we not seen the body since…
But even without the morderous violent Troggs, beating him to coma/offline is a bit worse
sweats in Holy Light
