UC elevator fix

Personally I never had problem with UC elevator so far. All I do is following:

  • Stop at the door.
  • Even if it is opened I wait for it to close and elevator to go up/down and back again.
  • Once door opened count to 1 and go in.
  • Stop right at the middle of the platform
  • Do not move or jump while elevator is in motion.
  • After elevator stops wait 1 second and move off

Yet somehow I see new dead bodies at the platform every day.

So what is you suggestion to nerf the UC elevator boss?

People walk in too late or they run into door frame and character gets stuck and falls. Its natural selection imo

Just follow regular elevator etiquette, don’t fool around.

All Blizz needs to do is reduce the elevators speed by 25% so players can catch up mid-fall.

Edit: Imagine the elevators in TB or Thousand Needles going at the speed of the UC elevator. There is really no need to have the UC elevator be as fast as it is.

Either learn to use the elevator .
Or if you are incapable , use the sewers .
There is no elevator in the sewers .

I find elevator boss in Thunder Bluff or Thousand Needles (as alliance especially) much more scary .
There you really do not have a way around it .

I only have this, enter when the door is open and stand in the middle.

You wait until it’s at the top fully then walk onto it and do not move or jump then don’t get off until it’s stopped.

Put a sign up saying ā€˜Don’t stand in the door way when the elevator closes. Please do not jump whilst on the elevator’

 Nobody will read just like they don’t read ELUA or agreement when entering HC worlds.

I think making lift slower than fall speed will solve most of the deaths, but then we will have another riot from people who gotta go fast.

My suggestion is to do nothing, if you mess up, its on you. Dont do stupid things. Simple.

this is failsafe. people dying to UC elevator is just testament to human inability to learn in many instances. your point 3 should be bold face ā€œGOā€ in, dont ā€œJUMPā€ in
