The GCD change did nothing for UH why? UH is one of the classes with the most spells and literally everything is on the GCD, the ramp up time change has done nothing for the rotation and after using CD’s its just a waiting game. This is not fun nor is it good since you have maybe a 3 / 5 second window just getting punched and have no rune’s / regen / power to survive unless you wait on every npc for 2-3 min for CD’s.
I know DK and many other specs have such a hard time etc: ret pala etc etc…
I main DK so its my personal frustration. Please remove spells from the GCD such as Dark Transformation / Summon Gargoyle, even though S/Gargoyle is at the current state a waste of a GCD. I have other issues but please make UH a decent spec for Shadowlands, Thanks.

I too feel like unholy currently has too many buttons when there are classes out there with less than 10 keybinds required. I Am genuinely trying to rearrange keybinds so i can fit all the new stuff on comfortably. All in all i could care less if dk is bad in shadowlands i made the decision months ago that i would quit if shadowlands is bad and as such will unsub and wait for tbc. Some people have to much faith in the developers. In any other job most of them would of been fired a long time ago for incompetence.

GCD is the second big issues .
First one is you having 30% downtimes every minutes
SL is close, and i’m afraid about another 8.0 situations sadly

It would be awesome if blizz do something about DK’s but sadly from playing for almost 9 years I know that wont happen. I would be happy with just removing some spells from the GCD so the rotation feels better but that wont happen either and I just want to know what the idea was when putting everything on the GCD because unholy in shadowlands just feels garbage.

- unholy strike
- garg
- apocalypse
- festering strike x2
- coil rp dump
- scourge strike x5/necrotic strike x5 for pvp
calculate all those actions and add gcd and see how much time it takes you to do all of those things.
this is what the beta is for dks atm
I would talk about how rogues, ele shams, sps, boomies just kill you before you reach nr.6 but I’m sure no one believes me.

I honestly don’t know if I will play it. I might take a break from the game the same I did back in MoP. I personally didn’t like the expansion so I didn’t play it. Simple as.
i lvl up dk again (i was playing this class on other account in mop) to start SL as new DK

I feel that Unholy Asault and the new Unholy Blight cut a lot of GCD out of our rotation.
We don’t have “buff” GCDs like Frost.
The only thing I still don’t understand is, why Dark Transformation is not instant? I mean I can instantly transport a far away target (sometimes a huge one) in front of me, but when I drug my pet with shadow energy, that takes such a long time.
Unholy assaut fixed nothing in fact.
You will still use it after apoc/Gargoyl so they benefit from haste at maximum.
DT need to be take off gcd atleast too.

I agree that DT, AotD and Gargoyle shouldn’t be on the GCD because they are actually buffs, but hey… we are DK so baby steps.
At least they gave us the choice between long term high dps rotation or super fast damage burst.

Gargoyle going back to a talent is painful; I was really looking forward to using magus of the dead alongside gargoyle.
Deleting half of our abilities isn’t a good solution for having too many GCDs

No more DT as demand (Bake into apoc) (aoe setup even longer)
No Runes issues fixed
Aotd may aswell be the new go talent so UA got change for nothing

I really don’t like these changes.
Gargoyle was the main reason I wanted to play Unholy in Shadowlands and seeing it going back in talents in a row with Unholy Assault kinda kills the spec to me. I know majority of DKs disagree with, but liked this Death Coil spam window.
Dark Transformation was good for extra utility in some scenarios like kicking a caster while being rooted yourself.
Epidemic being baseline is good but I think it need same Apocalyps CD reduction as Death Coil.
If Gargoyle stays with UA in one talent row Im probably going to go back to frost. 
I think it’s becoming apparent that wound management is just not practical. It’s a math problem in a game.
Epidemic baseline does not thrill me at all. With no CDR reduction it has no synergy with Apocalypse/DT.
Also it does not feel fun to press.
I think people are mistaking powerful for fun. Just because it has been a powerful talent for years, it has never intetested me.
Bring back Dark Transformation as a dedicated button please. This is a bad change for PVP.

^Agreed, the quick usage of pet kick is one of the things that feels really good in PVP and something I feel gives us DKs a super cool and creative tool that we can try and improve and perfect with quick pet-“move-to”-actions etc. From 1400-players to glad-players.

Come to think of it, the changes are actually not that bad.
It’s sad that they gave us the Valkyr than took it away, but I belive that with the legendary and soulbinds we have something.
Who here actually played with the arbiter after legion? I certainly didn’t because the Frenzy was too good.
