Since this morning/ as the new patch has arrived I started having this bug, which makes my game have a stutter and messes my UI completely, which makes my Icons have green background, One of my guildies also has the same bug and he’s using ElvUI and im on the base+bartender. prnt.sc/Z3I1GSBO3LcQ

Remove your addons, delete your WTF folder then slowly add your addons back in 1 at a time.
The screenshot just shows a buggy Damage Meter, and whatever it is in the top-left. The general UI seems to be fine?
- Update addons
- Delete your cache
- Turn off addons if the above doesn’t help
Don’t delete the WTF folder without thinking. At best rename it to “WTF.old” orso, as per documentation regarding interface resets.

Had a huge number of addon updates this morning. Hopefully it fixes your issue.
Failing that follow Mag’s advice.
20 years deleting my WTF at every tier patch, zero issues.
Great that it tends to work for you. It will probably for most players as most/all of those items are now stored non-locally as well. However, it’s still not the recommended way

im having exactly the same issue, ive updated my addons, updated ,my graphics driver turned off out of date addons, tested them all one by one and turned them all off and the same issue still occurs.
Update:
I repaired the install and so far it seems to be fixed. If you’re not sure how. Click the little cog next to the play button on the bnet launcher while on the wow page and there should be a scan / repair option there.

Issue still occurs. But only in TWW if I portal to a different xpac I have no issues.
try going back to directx11, seems to be working so far

Happens to me though generally it is when I try and use my transmog mounts. Certain elements of my UI are replaced with a green box after a screen freeze.
Time to train your character to ditch mounts and start walking great distances on foot 
Same here, happens very often in Dorongal for no reason I can be sure, game just freezes and reloads practically all textures and geometry, which makes a bunch of UI ones break and turn green.
Can reproduce every time I open the transmogrifier screen, it just stunlocks itself into doing it, recovering and doing it again.
EDIT: Seems like it won’t do it every time I open the tmog window if I disable Better Wardrobe addon, remains to see if it will happen randomly. Interesting thing is that I’ve never gotten a bugsplat with BugSack, so it’s not a normal addon error.
Nevermind - even with the addon disabled, opening up the transmog window still causes this bug to hapen, and it will continue happening until I close the window and reload the UI. It doesn’t stop otherwise, constantly glitching and unloading EVERY single texture and model.
